Im talking about the 2014 version

Besides going by the trailer Kong is larger than the villain in the 2014 version too, so i dont see the big deal? Godzilla is real slow

Kong is 100 feet tall in this film. In Godzilla, the smaller male MUTO was--according to various sources--anywhere from 60-91 meters tall (or 200-300 feet). So no, Kong isn't big enough to fight Godzilla.

But that's why Kong: Skull Island takes place in the 1970's, and why Godzilla took place in 2014. It was made known from a NYCC promotional item that

this iteration of King Kong is an adolescent. He has 40+ years to grow.

Everything else, though I agree with. Kong has a speed advantage, whereas Godzilla lumbered when on land. Not to mention, Kong appears to be more acrobatic than the latter. It should be an entertaining fight.

  2. John Wick: Chapter 2

    Weird trailer allotment yesterday...

    Trailers:
The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature - Some laughter.
The Zookeeper's Wife - No reactions.
The Great Wall - No reactions.
    Dunkirk - No reactions.
Kong: Skull Island - Good reactions and laughter to John C. Reilly's character. Positive reaction to Kong beating his chest, some imitations from the crowd (myself included).

Overall, I think people enjoyed the movie. A few made remarks about how they hoped there would be another one.

I don't think that character will last 30 min.

John C. Reilly is more than likely going to live. If he's the film's comic relief character, then it wouldn't make any sense to kill him off so soon.

    It's more likely that

Goodman's character Randa will be offed since what dialogue we've heard from him in the trailers and TV spots is very sparse.

Also, if it counts for anything I saw John Wick: Chapter 2 yesterday at noon. People seemed to respond well to the trailer. Many of them found Reilly's dialogue to be humorous. He's in it for the GA.

I have no idea who the hell is David Gordon Green.

All I know about him is that he directed Pineapple Express. I think it's interesting that a director and writer known for creating comedies were chosen to work on a horror property as prestigious as Halloween. But then again, Jordan Vogt-Roberts was known for his comedy stuff and he directed Kong: Skull Island. Who knows what John Carpenter saw in them? I guess we'll have to wait and see what's in store.

^^ The problem with fake news is that it's much easier to dupe people than it is to convince them they've been duped.

Once a person makes a rush judgement and buys into something, it would take a lot to change their minds, even if the initial judgement was based on disproven data.

I saw people who read this report and still argued the dog was tossed in the water, even though THAT WAS NEVER SHOWN.

It's really frustrating, especially now when there's so much false information floating around.

What's sad is that I've seen people call the American Humane Association liars.

It's like they can't accept that they made an incorrect assumption. It takes a special kind of pigheaded person to refuse to admit they were wrong, even when all evidence is put in front of them...

‘Five Nights At Freddy’s’ Movie Release Is Back At Square One, Says Scott Cawthon

    Quote

Five Nights At Freddy’s movie news was teased in September, and franchise creator Scott Cawthon has just revealed the project is “back at square one” after many months of planning. A recent Steam Community post details the film’s issues.

“The reality is that last year the FNaF movie was met with several delays and roadblocks,” he said, “some involving problems within the movie industry as a whole.” He further confirms that “as of right now, the movie is back at square one.”

It sounds like Five Nights at Freddy's is going the way of the film adaptation for The Last of Us. It's going through development troubles. They're re-writing the script. I personally don't think this movie's going to end up being made. If it ends up getting released, it will be too late because Five Nights at Freddy's had its popularity peak almost two years ago.
