  1. Anyone know any African or African American songwriters? I have a big musical coming Y6.
  2. Disney fucked up on the marketing for Aladdin. There’s no way it should be missing $300M DOM/$1B WW.
  3. The plot is: Douche Woody dog gets anxiety issues, chick dog takes care of dwd’s toy and has it stolen by cats and try’s to become one and Kevin Hart Bunny tries to free a tiger for Haddish Dog. I guess they all intersect as Max tries to fight two wolves.
  4. That’s the one good thing about the remakes in that they can’t rely branch off for sequels. Glad to hear Scott slays because I love me some Naomi Scott.
  5. I’ll likely be seeing Aladdin over the weekend. For those who have saw it, is it better than the POS Beauty and The Beast?
  6. If it weren't for Warner Bros ineptitude with family fare, I doubt Scoob, TAJ or SJ2 will benefit from nostalgia or you know strong grosses.
  7. I'd love to see Disney try to improve on some of their past 2000s Animation's like Atlantis or Treasure Planet and give them the live action treatment. But due to how profitable nostalgia is I doubt it.
  8. Kingdom of The Sun. Disney, it is a great idea. As TENG is a bit more zany, KOTS especially with the musical craze could be good for live action. After reading a pitch for a live action Bambi a few months, and i doubt the Disney version would be as dark, I imagine it'd be more traumatic for kids.
  9. Lilo and Stitch and The Princess and The Frog seem like good candidate, they won't make BATB/TJB numbers but Maleficent/Aladdin numbers seem right on the money.
  10. @cayommagazine Due to vast pressure from shareholders, Daron Nefcy although will be receiving an executive producer credit, she will not be returning to write the film; The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and... Dana as the script will be instead written by Noelle Stevenson and Rebecca Sugar.
  11. Agreed. I am glad they are at least trying. Hell I hope Jungle Cruise and Artemis Fowl break the cycle. I'm not saying to not root for Disney as they're helping keep theaters alive, and most of their films are pretty good. Zootopia, IO, Coco, The Last Jedi, IW/Endgame and Black Panther are some of the best blockbusters this decade. I'm somewhat excited for Aladdin and taking my little cousin to see it, and people should be feel to like what they like. I'm just saying at the end of the day, take a look at all sides.
  12. The Cheetah Girls: Animated. $1B previews. To reiterate I don't blame Disney for rebooting it's franchises or the position it's in, any other studio with that ability would do the same thing. I just find it frustrating that new originals (Note i use the term original loosely) have a harder time breathing nowadays in comparison to say superhero films or live action remakes.
  13. The gecko from Brandy and Mr. Whiskers. I was talking about cartoons from my childhood the other day and remembered it and decided to use it.
  14. Of course not all of them, that's crazy but all I am saying is that studios yend to follow the leader. Is it such a coincidence that once the MCU did big, every studio tried their own Cinematic Universe?
  15. I don't get how people can root for Disney. I mean remakes aside I like-love their movies, but I don't get how people can root for the company as it is slowly becoming a monopoly. And the effects they have effect the industry as a whole, I mean why else are getting all of these nostalgia based reboots/remakes like Men In Black International or ID:R. I have a lot of hope for 2020 though as it seems like a solid ground for New films to kick off as there's a lack of big movies.
