What does that have to do with my St. Patty's Day comment?
It's Sunday number sucked as well, all of them did.

2.66 seems like a very good prediction.

In other worlds, its a story seen from the perspective of the average Joe where Superheros actually exist in their world.
and its the best movie done like that and the only movie done like that, therefore the best one by default.
Ah thanks for the clarification.

It’s more likely than not that it will pass Wonder Woman But it’s not locked me thinks. From this weekend on up until April 5 we will have a major release that will take a bite from its theater, screens and ultimately audience.Us,Dumbo and Shazam have great early buzz and appeal to all demos. If it follows Guardians 2 which had summer ahead of it and registered a similar second weekend, it gets to like 410M (giving it slightly better holds)which is 2.5M shorter than Wonder Woman.Good lord was Wonder Woman’s run epic.
edit:just realized that it will only be in its 3rd weekend so it won’t loose many theaters when US comes out or if it will loose theaters at all.Idk how this works.
If you mean WW, it will pass it by over 200 million. Domestically which doesn't matter it might not.

Lol, St. Patricks Day excuses? That's like saying Wrestlmania has influence over the box-office.
How did Alita do on Sunday?

There’s no way Aquaman received any significant boost from JL. It did as well as it did partly because it was seen as the big event film of the holidays.
Agreed, Justice League didn't do anyone favors. Aquaman was great on it's own, or in spite of JL.

They didn't say best ever SuperHero film, read it again.
What does that exempt specifically? Modern era seems like the last 50 or so. Not the Donner films or older I guess?
Frankly I am expecting to be less fun than Aquaman, would love to be shocked.

Way better than SHC and not horrible in comparison to Civil War. Especially with the other movie breaking out could be worse.

Are schools out for Spring Break this week? If so, monday drops should be soft.
What would a soft Monday be? 75% drop is 4.85. 78% is 4.27.
I'll say 4.3 to 5 with a guess of 4.66

Guess I will put America where I was born. Live in UK but only till May then going back. Lived in UK twice, zero chance I retire in America, either central Europe or Northern Italy.

Overall ranking wise? According to what? YOUR subjective opinion?
Subjective or not, take the emotion out of it. I like DC and Marvel films, personally I want both to succeed. Hell I predicted 276 DOM for this film. However best ever superhero film ever seems crazy. If that is the expectation people want to set I'm sure most will be disappointed so I choose not.
It's her opinion she can express it but I don't have to believe it's correct.

Hard to do with China dragging that avg down
Agreed it's going to be hard assuming it only gets 20 million more from China. Billion is guaranteed I think, 1.1+ will depend heavily on late legs in US and OS-China. Hopefully another awesome trailer comes on 3/28.

Being true or false doesn’t make any sense. This is art. It’s her opinion so that makes it true for her.
Of course one can say Catwoman is their favorite as well. Besides personal opinion, I meant overall ranking wise I doubt this even sniffs top 5 much less 1. Looks like a fun enjoyable film and I can't wait to see it.
-
I seriously doubt that's true but I bet it's good.

Hell I was ready to accept 135. 152 million would be great.
China your box office is crazy but facsinating .

And where did I say Johnson had 100% creative control? I don't disagree with that and I am sure the Porgs were created to sell merch.
I know these films were made with selling toys in mind. Just saying, so did the OT and the PT. Not just that but ROTJ had narrative decisions changed so that more merch could be sold.
Dude you need to chill. Eat a snickers man.

I'm thinking 3.5 billion for the next 2. Rough for Marvel, not sure how they'll survive.
-
I hope DC continues his focus on Diversity with making good films instead of crap like Suicide Squad in the past. It hurts the cause like the dumpster fire of Elektra from Marvel. Aquaman and Wonder Woman were both badass. More of that, nothing like the batman remake crap, justice league was horrible, Batman vs Superman sucked, Man of Steel was ok.
I wish there was an effective to crossover from TV to movies, the DC TV series have been awesome.

54.5% drop would be very solid. Maybe 35+ next weekend?

Very similar bumps to Black Panther's bumps during its 5th weekend (3/16-3/18).
CM- 106% bump from Thur to Fri, then 56.8% from Fri to Sat
BP- 106% bump from Thurs to Fri, then 54.5% from Fri to Sat
If Sunday does as well, Cap could fall in the middle 30% (34.2% for BP).
Probably just a one time instance of this being similar, I'm not expecting Cap to have the legs BP had.
God no who would? I'd be thrilled with a 410-425 finish. Hell 400+ who are we kidding. I mean if it doesn't beat Aquaman who cares? Aquaman was better imo.

Um baby groot is badass. How rude.

I like it when you can see the moon during the day.
Anyways feeling damn good about my 69,069,069 prediction. Perhaps 69,690,069. Hmm
