They should have gone with "The biggest presales for a Rated R Marvel movie"
Nice PR article tho..

I wish Amy's movie was doing better to shush some of her obsessed haters....

Peeps in denial even after actual numbers and trends are being posted
It has been said multiple times that SW pre-sales aren’t a reliable comp, if it was the case infinity war won’t pass R1 OW.

I Feel Pretty is doomed only because STX is distributing it..if it wasn't maybeee it could been saved by older female demo.

Saw an ad during Juve, Real Madrid after the first half...which is a prime spot.

That guy playing Solo is a travesty.
But, I'm not invested in the franchise anyway, so don't care.

Trump does not have power over everything. We will see. But if it happens the movie industry is toast. Directors have even been out saying this will be bad for everyone.
Yes he does. He controls the JD.

How reliable are they usually?
It's a reasonable prediction. $234m is the original Avengers OW adjusted.

Amazing. Sidenote..but SXSW is really delivering in terms of buzz with Baby Driver, RP1 and now AQP.

All these are quite subjective and up for debate. If Arrival is masterpiece then BR2 is in same category going by RT and IMDB. Offcourse personal preferences on this board will keep varying
BR2 has a A+ cinematography, acting, production design, sound, special effects but to me it falls apart when it comes to the story, especially the third act.
(sorry for the off topic btw)

Just had a look at the adjusted numbers for the franchise and it's not looking good for this.
Rank Title (click to view) Studio Adj. Gross / Theaters Opening / Theaters Date 1 Men in Black Sony $501,381,100 3,180 $102,136,900 3,020 7/2/97 2 Men in Black II Sony $300,868,300 3,641 $82,396,800 3,557 7/3/02 3 MIB 3 Sony $202,997,300 4,248 $61,719,400 4,248 5/25/12 Following the current trend, this movie is currently set to make approximately $0.
Literally the same logic was used for Spider-man Homecoming...I think this reboot will flop but not because of the trend of the franchise..

Aren't they "really good friends" maybe she passed it over..

Will Fox try to get a date for Red Sparrow? With an edited cut like for The Shape of water.

Tracking
Pacific Rim Uprising which is looking at between $24M-$31M
From Deadline. I'd be shocked if it passes $20m

Deadline reports $106m for TB's budget, jeez it didn't look that expensive. Passengers did $300m with the same budget and it's considered a flop.

Seems I Can Only Imagine is doing really well. I wonder why they didn’t try to get it into more theaters this weekend.
Pulse:
1. Avengers IW
2. Avengers IW IMAX 2D
3. Avengers IW 3D
4. Avengers IW IMAX 3D
5. I Can Only Imagine
Starting like Last Jedi...

Will Tomb Raider be walk-up driven cause being <1.0% from Love, Simon which is projected to do $10-15m isn't promising.
