Coco is doing good. Justice League's terrible numbers never fail to surprise me. It truly is the TMNT 2 of 2017. Your sequel will be punished if audiences hated the previous film. I should have caught this failure but I absolutely did not.
Time to lower my expectations for Dark Phoenix...

I think they might be slightly updated. I remember JL being down 55% earlier. That says 53%42.2 is a 55% drop

Even if JL floundered it's great a Thanksgiving week at the BO, compared to last year

Moana held up fine aganist SING, Coco should hold even better in December
So JL is headed for this territory, adjusted for inflation

Put it this way it had a 17.5mil Monday and didn't include China or Korea.
If it keeps it up then you can very well see a overseas total over 340mil Monday.
Nevermind I totally forgot it already opened in China

Coco made me bawl my eyes out. Very tempted to call it Pixar’s best. It’s definitely top 3
What do you think of Moana?
-
Well you know not everyone has Thanksgiving boosting the numbers...
It has to stay flat from last week (Wednesday-Sunday) $185m+$185m= $370m
-
Why Trevorrow posted it...does he want to remind everyone he did the first one

I actually like Mel Gibson because I love many of his movies (Mad Max, Lethal Weapon, etc). I don't really care about any Ben Affleck movie.

A lower Weekend doesn’t automatically gives a films worse or equal Legs.
JL can very well have a Second Weekend bigger than BVS while its Dailies for this week will also be above it.
I never said it's doing x1.99 like BvS, or x2.4 like SS
-
A disastrous OW doesn't give automatically better legs. A 3x is Guardians territory lol
Mockinjay Part 1 - x2.76
Mockinjay Part 2 - x2.75 (faced Force Awakens)
Catching Fire - x2.69

Is Wonder gonna pull a Blind Side...$200m???
Lionsgate must be over the moon.
Great increase for JL, but will Wednesday increase be lower? MJ2 went up 33% on Tuesday and then 20.3% on Wednesday

Probably not. This behavior went on for 200
pages. Don’t listen to the ones who say they would. Some of them were very defensive about the huge Spider-Man Homecoming drop on the second weekend. I did not see laughing then and why should there have been? That movie made an excellent recovery and it deserves it. Mention that Thor dropped really heavy last weekend and you get the spin. So no, they wouldn’t be laughing if this were an MCU movie. I think they are just young fanboys and girls. There is still that emotional attachment to comic books.
We were defensive cause the movie had potential and indeed it recovered.
We didn't call those who didn't agree with us "IMDB boards trolls". The most I did was calling someone very annoying, but I never told them "stop posting about the second week" or something along these lines

AoU got mocked for not making $200m OW. TASM2 was labeled a catastrophe. So yes, this deserves every piece of shade thrown at it. it's a disaster of epic proportions lol.
Last year too with Fantastic Beasts..

250-260 makes me happy if true.
Right now JL has A 33.7% to a 66.3% WW Ratio
apply that same ratio to that domestic total
And it’s 500mil foreign.
We May have just jumped the gun on JL.
Only time will tell.
Missing 100mil hurt the film chances at 300 Domestic.
lol
such a sleeper hit
