Lol. Among these only hitman has chance. Others are not hitting $800m. My little pony will do $300m-$450m in china but not much in any other country. -
And megan leavy will reach top 5 next w/e.

I started following box office in 2009 after watching tdk. I was very happy that it did so wonderfully. I am more of a worldwide box office fan, so avatar's run is my favorite. Also I love unexpected success more than expected record breakers, so pretty light on tfa. Loved deadpool run. Frozen, zootopia are among my favorites. From this year, started following domestic performances. Due to THABOS, got into history of box office too.

I didn't follow that run. I was checking how high civil war is on worldwide list and color me surprised, zootopia did $1 billion. Same happen with frozen when it beat iron man 3.

Yep. I think she gave up drugs but due to some reason, succumb to them in the end. Very sad.

This is third highest cbm third weekend. Only behind avengers, the dark knight and spiderman. Bigger than, Iron man 1,2,3 Civil war Deadpool Gotg vol. 2 The dark knight rises Spidrr man 2,3 Age of ultron. Let it sink in.

I have never watched transformers on theater but whenever they are on tv, I watch them. All 4 of them are among the most entertaining blockbusters.

F&F franchise is bigger currently worldwide than potc and transformers. Who would have thought this with the performance of first films of these franchises.

As others have pointed out WW need to keep screens to reach 400. If it keeps good number of screens until apes, things will get easier. Ofcourse needs to keep it's drop low for next three weeks.

I just wish that deadpool 2 does more than atleast one of the expected top 4 of summer 2018.

If that $45m budget is true for AEOM, this OW is not good. It's frontloaded, OS potential is not much.

Nope. SS had two weekly drops under 15% and also it was released in barren august. I think deadpool is much more realistic goal. $400m while very possible, still very very tough. Very.

Suicide squad like weekly drops will take WW around 395.

And baywatch did more than nice guys and lobsters which discards RT's credibility. Gotg vol. 2 will have better legs than civil war which also discards rt. Alien covenant is gonna have bad legs af, which also discards rt credibility. That was my point, rt is not objective.

If I like a movie, it's good. If I get into technical or very deep into a film and start analysing it too much, I hate it 90% of the time. I didn't like that phase of my life where I was hating on almost every movie.

I agree with grimm22. People put too much stock in RT, to the point they see it as objective metric of quality of films. "I love BvS" "Why? It's a bad film" "Why it's a bad film" "It is rotten on rt" Discussion ends there. There should not be guilty pleasure, if people love it, it's good for them. As for using it for spending on tickets, I agree with grey ghost. It's too expensive and time consuming to go to movies with family and freinds. RT makes it simple. Not everybody has time to read full reviews.

I have no problem with people thinking WW will do $400m. But if it ends at anything over $350m (almost locked), it is already a very special run. For a female lead movie directed by a female director, that's damn good. Ahead with squirrel girl marvel!!
