Voice acting could be so much worse tbf
This is hilarious. You just reminded me of one of my favorite videos, I come back to this like once a year
"BARRY. WHERE'S BARRY."
"BLOOD. HOPE THIS IS NOT CHRIS'S BLOOD."

There's no way he sat through a fucking three hour movie that many times, that's insane. He probably just bought that many tickets but didn't actually watch it that many times. That'd be much more reasonable

Yeah, flash forward to now, and the guy has seen Endgame an extra 73 times, which is a mind-blowing 201 times! 🤯
Why would you brag about this...

BTW I don't think QT is retiring any time soon. For no other reason then he loves to be in the spotlight and if he stops making movies the spotlight will go away.
More-so than that he just loves films and making films, it's what he does. There's no reason for him to retire after 10 films other than he said he said he's going to. If it were just a matter of him staying on the spotlight there's plenty of ways to do that without being a director.

I really, really liked this. Brad Pitt's character was the MVP but Leo was great too, the whole sequence of him shooting his guest spot on the Western was a lot of fun and felt like a clever way for Tarantino to keep going on his western kick. Was kinda surprised how peripheral Sharon Tate was to the story but Margot Robie was really likable and made a great impression with the little screentime she had. Loved the Bruce Lee scene as well, I didn't see it as anything other than a completely loving homage to the man. Didn't see anything racist about it either, it was a dead-on impression of the man and he was just victim to a little hubris and lost the fight.
Not sure where I'd rank it among Tarantino's other films, definitely enjoyed it more than Hateful Eight. Like most of his films I'm sure I'll enjoy it the more I watch it.

The trailer from this got a really big reaction at OUATIH last night (from myself included). Think this should do well.

Seeing all the activity surrounding CATS, I knew something horrifying had happened, because there's no way anyone could be unironically excited for it. Oh boy. I don't even think it's possible be hyperbolic about just how off-putting the trailer is.
I really did have a visceral reaction to it, like I'm literally disgusted.

If they're really showing this in front the Lion King I may rethink taking that edible before I go watch it. I could have a full on panic attack.

I mean... is it really THAT much more horrifying than this? Seems like they're just being true to the source material...
I wish I had never seen any of this. The human race should be ashamed of itself.

I'm sorry, I honestly don't get why anyone really wants a live action American-made Akira movie or why that was a creatively commendable idea. Or why Taika Waititi was a good fit for the material. The whole thing made no sense to me.

being a post Weinstein film, is there a war on older rich men dating young little girls?
can older millionaires make environmentally friendly dance clubs for the millennial women that were 13 when the 1999 films came out, so they can get in them 20 years later?
anyone get any behind the scenes cell phone shots of the actors playing video games or doing things like that they are not supposed to be seen doing or acknowledge because of contracts for mystery behind branded name/character?

Damn if only it had a smaller drop this weekend then it would have been a huge hit

Oh well that's a relief, as long as the GOOD GUYS are using this incredibly invasive and unethical technology there's nothing to worry about!

One thing that bugged me (no pun) about this was what a blatantly huge, Big Brother-y invasion of privacy EDITH is, and we're supposed to go "Oh cool! Tony Stark has access to everyone's personal information at all times! Sweet!"

I love that anytime points the finger and says "Spider-Man did it!" everybody's immediately ready to turn on him.

Oh I forgot to mention in my review the score is AWESOME, maybe the best part of the movie.

This was good. The slow burn was done very well, but there were some parts where I did find myself getting a little bored. Like towards the end I was kinda feeling like "Alright just get to the crazy shit already." Which speaking of, wasn't as crazy as I had built up in my head after all the hype. It's definitely a fucked up movie, but I wasn't really "shocked" by the ending, it's a built up to in a way where you can tell exactly where the story is going and it just feels inevitable and doomed. Which isn't a bad thing, I liked that build up and sense of dread. The gnarliest part of the movie was the cliff suicide, now THAT was pretty shocking. Also the uh... conception was hilariously fucked up, my audience got a kick out of that.

Idk it just felt stupid. It was so jarring, like all of a sudden: SPACE ALIENS. A BIG SPACESHIP. THE END. And it changes the events of the movie in a weird, unnecessary way, like if they really want to set up Nick Fury in space there's plenty of other ways to do it. Idk, maybe I'm just annoyed that I stayed for the rest of the credits for it. If I knew it was that I would've left lol

I never noticed it until someone pointed it out when I watched Inglourious Basterds, now it's impossible not to notice it.
