Without immediate re-expansion & later re-releases the drops from 1st to 2nd chapters are: ANH to ESB - 18.02% TPM to AOTC - 29.9% TFA to TLJ - 33.65% (Assuming 621.46 million for TLJ)

Can anyone tell me how much ESB actually dropped from ANH?? I mean the non-adjusted drop in figures form Ep. IV to Ep. V is around 32% but it includes the immediate re-expansion figures & re-releases in '78, '79 etc for ANH, no?? In it's 1st run in theaters, ANH made a little over 220 million while ESB grossed 209.4 million. So ESB dropped 7% from ANH. Is it incorrect??

If TLJ has a similar multiplier to that of R1 after the 4 day MLK weekend, it'll finish with 621.46 million. Not sure if it does keep pace with R1 tho as it has trended downward w.r.t R1 after the massive OW. So a sub 620 million final total for TLJ is within the realm of possibilities atm.

R1 dropped 955 theaters in it's 5th weekend which was 22.97% of it's existing theaters while TLJ could potentially lose 26% of it's theaters. TwoMisfits was not far off when she said that TLJ will lose a substantial amount of theaters (<<R1) in the 5th weekend.
