I mean, I have seen it twice, and they aren’t exactly wrong. They are absolutely the stand out characters. But they also aren’t exactly right. So I was thinking about how like I honestly don’t think anyone but Tony Leung could have played Wenwu. Because I feel like people would have gone big. Or menacing. It would’ve turned into this crazy arch performance that probably would’ve ruined the movie. And I was just thinking about how like the casting in Marvel is amazing. Sarah Halley Finn Is Totally their secret weapon. I thought Simu Liu Was also such perfect casting because there were times when he was had scenes Leung That honestly it felt like he was so out of his league. But it doesn’t feel like he was poorly acting. It just enhanced the dynamic between the father and the son. And also Simu was so endearing in all of his scenes with Katy. That’s where he really really shined to me. And it just kind of further Illustrates that like Shang Chi will never be his father. And he could never really exist in his fathers world. I have ZERO idea what is going on here, but I am ALWAYS here for Peter Weir Stanning. Everyone should watch all of these ASAP I have seen a lot of shit, and IDK. I think you could definitely do it with a bunch of directors, depending on your taste level and your chaotic need for drama. Or maybe I just really like Billy Wilder movies 😂😂

For what it’s worth, it’s only 10AM and my 12:10 and 1:40 at the local theater are already at 75%, and the other shows for today definitely are all 25% or higher. (Aka all of the middle “good seats” are sold out, but plenty of room upfront.)

Just got out for a second time. My family's reactions are amazing, i won't lie: My nephew (who is like ten) was like it was better than he thought. And he's excited now cause it's his favorite movie and now he has something to tell people when they ask what his favorite movie is! Cause normally he draws a blank and hates drawing a blank!! My mom turned to me during the credits and was like "So who was the really famous Hong Kong actor again?" "The Dad." "THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT!! Cause at first I thought it was the kid, but that didn't make any sense. I thought "it has to be The Dad." He was my favorite. I loved him. You know how Loki is my favorite." Our audience was a bunch of causals (very young, male, and diverse). They didn't laugh as much as the Thursday crowd, but seemed to enjoy it. Very nosy on the way out. Yet half left during the end credits. I still have no idea why people do that. It's been ten years. C'mon.
