(God I love starting over. Gonna take another three months to get this back to an art form.)
  3. I honestly think this might be the most beautiful picture I’ve ever seen in my fucking life.
  4. SPOOKTOBER 2021 So first I want to say I apologize about some of the confusion on scheduling in the past couple of weeks. The change of seasons always kicks my ass (Thanks S.A.D.!), so if I've been moody or flaky lately, that's why, and I apologize if it inconvenienced any of you. And I want to thank @4815162342 and @Rorschach for all the great suggestions this month. It's October, so you know what that means: October 6 | Suspiria [1977] October 9 | Blood & Black Lace [1964] October 13 | The Last Wave [1977] October 16 | Carnival of Souls [1962] October 19 | Invasion of The Body Snatchers [1956] October 23 | The Fog [1980] October 27 | An American Werewolf in London [1981] October 30 | Diabolique [1955]
  5. Also, I doubt the length will increase unless they decide to do like five 1-hour episodes, instead of ten 30-minute episodes. To do like ten 40-50 minute episodes would be **outrageously** expensive. And to Anon, I also find the notion that Steve and Peggy are too similar outrageous. That! Is! The! Point! They are soulmates! They are THE SAME! And they have proven that over and over again. In The First Avenger, even before Steve was a hunk, the movies goes out of their way to show them bonding over shared life experiences. They were the only two people to run TOWARD the grenade Phillips toss. They both talked about having "doors slammed in their faces" in the car ride to the Experiment. So why Captain Carter's episode really works, and why it's so awesome is proves that Peggy's just as amazing as Steve, and the story really wouldn't have been that different. #TrueFeminism And cause we have to, Shang Chi and The Legend of the Five Rings What If Loki Falcon and The Winter Soldier
  6. MODERATION: If you wish to talk about the Hollywood Reporter article, or how a potential vax policy might affect the set, or future sets, that is fine. But PLEASE DO NOT TURN THIS INTO A DEBATE ABOUT VACCINES. We're been there. We're done that. Thank you!
  7. HATERS TO THE LEFT OKAY. MARVEL JUST SAID HEY, YOUR QUEER HEADCANONS ABOUT SAM AND STEVE AND PEGGY AND NAT. WE GOT YOU GIRL. HERE, HAVE INSPIRATION. GO WRITE MORE OF THEM. The episode was good too. But like them hitting all of my kinks was FIIIIIIIIRE
  8. I love Marvel’s DEEP COMMITMENT TO GIVING ME EXACT WHAT I WANT 😭😭😭
  9. Back in my day, you had to wait a whole year between Marvel projects! 🙄 Anyway, as someone who was very active with the WGA strike, and has worked those long hours on sets: let the IASTE be out for months if they have to. Get that fair contract!
  10. Steve would never call Tony for help. For all he knew, Tony was probably in on it. He did build the damn Hellicarriers. 💁‍♀️ I think you’re over thinking this just a little. I mean we joke that Keanu Reeves is immortal. He’s looked the same for 30 years. So it could be something like that with Kingo. Hell, let him do adverts for anti-aging creams 😂😂 Money and Plastic Surgery go a long way for actors looking fit. And then of course there is the ancient “I am really my father” gag with immortality.
  11. @EmpireCity Now that you got that out of your system, for the rest of the month, I look forward to your posts that actually further the conversation.
  12. I also just want to say that I feel so validated, and seen, and understood completely as a person, because these writers Are committed to Tony Stark is actually the villain of the MCU, and I have been saying that for like seven fucking years!!!!
  13. I did a double take at this. So like does that mean it’s all about James Bond and his mother issues? Or that it’s darkly funny? @ViewerAnon help a girl out?
  14. I’m sure he’ll be fine as he cries into his daddy’s money
  15. My first reaction was “if they win and Kirby gets screwed again, I will scream.” 🤣 The real issue with the lawsuit is that there is a solid precedent for a ruling against the families. The comic book industry was always a work for hire, with the companies owning the copyrights. And I don’t really see anything in the past couple years that would give me faith the courts would rule against the corporations. Like most of these cases, they settle. And hopefully they can. I also would like to see something happen where writers of particular storylines are paid when their story lines are adapted from the comics. But I think it would be too much to ask if the Ditko family pulled that during their negotiations. I also feel like the Only party that could potentially get screwed here is Sony. Disney is not going to let the family if they win, take the properties anywhere else. They’re just going to renegotiate and have to fork over a couple billion dollars. Yep they could throw enough money around to completely cut Sony out of the picture.
  16. our friend has a little something he’d like to say!
  17. Yeah, but, **BRANDI**. Hot damn she's rocking that bathin suit and knee highs.
  18. My friend and I were half joking/half serious about this a couple days ago. I completely 100% agree. He's clearly the best part of the movie, and I would argue that his performance is the make or break element of the film. So why not give him a push? When folks push back, just remember the Academy they love giving "we're sorry we messed up the first time" Awards, and this is really for when y'all couldn't figure out if Lust/Caution was an American, Chinese, or Taiwanese production in 2007; thus blocking the film from any Awards. LOL.
