FYI the 4th and 5th weekend #1 on mojo are American Sniper’s 1st and 2nd of wide release, so these would be some truly insane legs — I think your weekends add up to some 780M or so even before weekdays contribute anything. I don’t love having expansions muck things up but we need a consistent and easily referenced standard.

3PM changes everything. Can’t reason from old Fri/Th ratios or IMs. Once we see Fri afternoon nums/pace, then we will know whether we are getting a nice 265 or a sad 225

Nothing has happened per se. We had gigantic flashing neon warning signs from ep 1. Some people involved can talk okay PR in interviews, I’m sure some of them really care, but when it comes to whatever conglomeration of people and processes had final say there is obviously no real appreciation for the source material.

10/10 movie wrapped around like 3-5 absolutely fucking God awful 1/10 structural plot factors/moments. On end I guess it nets out mid tier mcu, 15th or so.
Absolute crowd pleaser though, definitely the most ecstatic reaction moments I’ve seen for anything except Endgame. At this rate the GA will stay happy with mcu longer than I will
