As long as you are recovering marketing cost I suppose getting a bonus theatrical revenue don't hurt. Day and date streaming is dumb and whoever is doing it is killing the business in long run.

Yeah and I am 99% sure $5.2m isn't including EA. Will confirm for certain tommorow tho. Jokes apart. The film did best in South West. Cinemark & Harkins both did really well. Regal was low. AMC being fairly spread in both coast was right about normal. And none of these were really surprising frankly. We are just joking here.

Won't be kids movie I guess. Will have old audience. 54% audience for TS4 were over 25. Lightyear could be even more.

BUT... being $4.2M comp with a CBM is a really great number. Minions just like Lightyear will over-index here. The first number I had for Lightyear is T-8 days, so that will be a good comp. Lightyear was 747 including EA. Minions can surely add that much in next 6 days and will likely have more walkins than Lightyear. So $5M+ previews are certainly possible.

Still tough but may be it will do it. If it actually do that, will be almost matching DSitMoM daily pace for next 4 days, which is really strong as in theory Thor/DSitMoM will keep increasing, so we may actually see Thor going over DSitMoM daily pace at some point of time. But this is better done than just saying now.
