  1. Unless you have Endgame level demand, I think these additional showings do nothing for the weekend other than diluting the FSS a bit.
  2. So 279 per show. I guess 200-225 avg nationwide is likely. Don't know what WB is doing here. This was supposed to be 1 show each IMAX locs. Donno why they are having multiple shows now. 1. You are diluting THU numbers 2. You are going to make my job really hard
  3. There are 180 shows in alpha. Yeah big cities are gonna be over that 200 avg easily but I guess others may be on smaller side.

  6. I didn't mind watching it but what's the point? 1. would have liked a lot better without any MANDO or GROGU stuff 2. I guess that's it just no stakes, no point, time killer to just show that "well Disney+ has new show" DISNEY+ is awful.
  7. So we have 6130 seats sold in 24 shows. 255 per. There are 365 shows I believe other day, so likely 70-75k tickets demand burned.
  8. 348/435 so far in Harkins on 1 show. NWH had 1042 on 3 IMAX shows and 1912 at the location in all 13 shows. Eternals had 115 in IMAX and 152 overall. Not much to read here yet.
  9. Now not really a comp, but NWH sold 1042 seats on 3 IMAX shows in its first 24 hours in Harkins while Eternals was 115 on 2 shows. Batman so far has 137 sold.
  10. Since you shared that THR report of yearly box office @Agafin. They seem to be taking the gross they have as CA$ and adjusting in US$. I am like 99% sure that, the Canada number of $1.02B is US$ because that's what gonna make yearly BO $11.3B. Otherwise, if this is CA$, yearly BO should be around $11B for 2019. This is the number I pulled from comScore back in 2019.
  11. TBH I myself is trying to solve this matter. Numbers I have pulled are from comScore. As far as I remember TFA USA gross is ~$840M + CAN ~$95M to make it $936M. Don't think they will be adding US$ with CAN$. Actually I was once told that this is in fact the case that CAN$ is directly added to US$, which I honestly didn't believe. I asked RTH about it few years back, he also said its US$. Unfortunately I don't have direct access at the moment, so I can't check in detail. I am adding the top grossers list, same I have posted in first page. My only/biggest rationale for my number being US$ is because there are many late 2000s and early 2000s film in the list due to better exchange rate. Like The Avengers is almost same as IW, despite US gross being 10% higher. or Avatar bigger than TFA.
  12. Spider-man: No Way Home Denmark Day 1-3 ~ 155K Day 4-28 ~ 7K Day 29-32 - 68K Week 3 - 94,909 Week 4 - 60,897 5th Weekend - 41,108 (-14%) Total - 427,221 ($7.4M) Well great hold. Probably 437k at end of week and then next week is possible gonna be flat due to holidays. Optimistically 575K ($10M) lets go.
  13. Spider-man: No Way Home Week 0 - ₹39.43cr Week 1 - ₹139.5cr Week 2 - ₹50.2cr Week 3 - ₹20.6cr Week 4 - ₹4.6cr Week 5 - ₹2cr Week 6 - ₹1.6cr Week 7 - ₹1.4cr 8th weekend - ₹0.4cr Total - ₹259.9cr Top Hollywood movies in India Rank Title Year Gross (in crores ₹) Gross (in million $) 1 Avengers: Endgame 2019 ₹442.00 $63.14 2 Avengers: Infinity War 2018 ₹296.50 $44.18 3 Spider-man: No Way Home 2021 ₹260.00 $34.90 4 The Jungle Book 2016 ₹259.30 $39.00 5 The Lion King 2019 ₹184.70 $26.40 6 Furious 7 2015 ₹137.40 $22.16 7 Jurassic World 2015 ₹128.80 $20.30 8 Avatar (including Special Edition) 2009 ₹125.00 $27.47 9 Fate of the Furious 2017 ₹121.00 $18.79 10 Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom 2018 ₹107.50 $15.93
  14. Week will probably be around 70K, closing mostly 2890K if it get 35% weekly drops.
  15. Important factor is whether WB be smart with that matinee pricing or not. The only dumb thing Sony did was that.
  16. As I mentioned its PAIN to track such large number of shows right from go for many days. Having full slate out say 3-4 days before release is manageable.
  17. This obviously won't have any impact on numbers overall. You are basically shifting few people to watch it a day or two early.
