  1. So when was MTC 3 started on board or are we skipping the 3?
  2. Just because FF grossed more internationally doesn't mean it has cultural significance. SW has some cultural significance and a fan base everywhere, a niche in Asian countries though. F&F are just a disposable junk with little to no cultural bearing. Also, SW7 outgrossed F7 by $500mn. SW8 outgrossed F8 by $100mn. Rogue One outgrossed H&S by $300mn. Quite certain that will continue.
  3. No China is of little to no news in India despite being neighbours. No one really bothering actually.
  4. Luckily its in Kerala. Best state of India so it will be contained. It would be Disastrous if UP/Bihar get it.
  5. I won't waste my time with someone who wait for and rave Car Wars. Might as well debate with a Sallu fan.
  6. Ready to sacrifice Widow & Mulan if that means evil of Car Wars 9 is dumped to ground in China.
  7. And Nepal has the border with two shittiest states of India. Uttar Pradesh & Bihar. They combined have population par USA with area I guess not even 1/30th.
  8. 7 out of these were for launching his son which he gave up afterall. Their next that I know is Akshay starrer Bell Bottom.
  9. Damn 80k is huge. For US with just odd 300mn population. The India's 35k number is just reported one, actual may be 100k plus easily. India barring 3-5 states is a shithole.
  10. Yeah. That's good step taken by China. I guess totalitarian country aside, this is an impressive feat if they are able to contain disease under 100k cases. Considering the size of population, if say just 1% are affected, that will be over 14mn.
  11. Now that I am seeing cinemas being close and stuff, just how shitty India is. In 2015 Swine Flu had 34k infected case & 2k deaths yet no one bothered to close anything. In fact 2015 first quarter did good business.
  12. Wrote a piece on that Welcome To New York, Pari and Dil Junglee are name of three films released in last three weeks. What’s common in these three, other than the that these were box office flops is that Pooja Entertainment Private Limited aka Pooja Films either produced or released them. So what’s big deal in that which called for a separate article, you must be thinking that. There is something special, to find read on. Pooja Films is production and distribution company established by Vashu Bhagnani in 1995. Since then they have produced over 25 films and distributed couple of more. Company had a great start in late 90s, with five of the six films produced by the company till 2001 turning out Super Hits, including Coolie No.1, Hero No.1, Biwi No.1, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai. Right there, seventeen years back, debut film of Tusshar Kapoor Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai was released, which emerged Super Hit, and last hit for the company. Ever since company has produced 22 films and all of them failed to emerge Hit. Yes, 22 in last seventeen years and none of them was Hit, the one that come close being a successful film was F.A.L.T.U. in 2011, nothing other than that. It is difficult to find some studio with 100% success ratio with more than 20 films, but it’s perhaps impossible to find someone (of course except Pooja Films) with ‘ZERO’ Hit film from 20 plus odd films, because usually the person/company will stop making films before that. Following are the Bollywood films produced by Pooja Entertainment Private Limited in last seventeen years (in reverse chronological order) Dil Juunglee (2018) Welcome To New York (2018) Mona Darling (2017) Sarbjit (2016) Welcome 2 Karachi (2015) Humshakals (2014) Youngistaan (2014) Himmatwala (2013) Rangrezz (2013) Ajab Gazabb Love (2012) F.A.L.T.U. (2011) Do Knot Disturb (2009) Kal Kissne Dekha Hai (2009) Sorry Bhai (2008) Shaadi No.1 (2005) Silsilay (2005) Vaada (2005) Out Of Control (2003) Jeena Sirf Mere Liye (2002) Om Jai Jagdish (2002) Deewanapan (2001) Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein (2001)
