Cinemascore definitely means something. Endgame will be grossing $500mn after first weekend, an amount crossed by Christmas legs only. The other one coming close was A+.

Ohh. This is much better than the last time I checked. I was thinking it might flop with 50-60mn OW but 90mn plus as many comps say will be really good. But then thinking, how good the original was, and how big TLK seems like is gonna be and how big BaTB was. This is such a underperformer. BaTB(1991) - 145 Aladdin - 217 TLK - 312 Had someone asked me in 2017 during release of BaTB I would have put 500mn as floor for this one.

The thing I am bothering is that, what if Fox now Disney update the gross of Avatar for the re-releases in the past 10 years in various countries, if there were any. That could be the difference.

I think 3 is the best we can hope for.

Is it opening 100mn 4 days Domestic? Not in touch with tracking thread now days so not sure. If Dom open to 100mn 4 days, OS will be better I guess. Now that I am checking, Dumbo has done ~$240mn with rather low Japan. I don't think Aladdin will be below Dumbo anywhere, Asia shall be considerably better. Dumbo barely did 2mn in India, I am expecting Aladdin to do atleast $7-8mn. If the film is any good, can go higher. $400-450mn is possible. That would mean $140-150mn weekend.

I think ticket prices are also higher in Canada. The fact that A:EG has made $75mn plus in 325 locs ($230k PTA) compared to $695mn in 4337 locs ($160k PTA). The ratio will be even better by 30% if the exchange rates were as good as 2009.
