  1. @terrestrial the above Australia and New Zealand are local currency. Besides lost interest in tracking after watching the film. Just tracked the numbers today morning. Overseas weekend is $5.06 million, since all markets aren't reported on Rentrak/comScore, some markets are estimated based on historical numbers and my direct link with distributor.
  2. Zero is looking at ₹27-30cr Net (₹35-38cr Gross $5-5.5mn) opening day going by initial pre-sales. That's a bit lower than what I expected but can pick up in the next 2 days. Going by the early reports on content, the weekend would be ₹92-102cr Nett (₹118-130cr Gross $17-18.5mn).
  3. The minimum bump in international for sequels is 20% for Iron Man 2 and Ant Man and The Wasp. Rest all have big growth.
  4. Naah. It won't break out. It's just doing good for animation films, nothing major. Will be half of Incredible 2.
  5. The audience score is 91% on Book My Show. That qualifies as "excellent", imo.
  6. I agree with him. Grinch, if follow Moana, will add $45mn plus till Christmas, considering $12.5mn plus this weekend. $15mn post that won't be an issue, no matter how big it fell, especially when Holiday period is still there till New Year.
  7. Ralph has underperformed big time IMO. I liked the original and coupled with Internet & Disney stuff, I was hoping for $250mn plus North America but right now $200mn seems like struggle. In fact, being about 70% of The Grinch in daily numbers, will go lower further, is embarrassing.
  8. Buzz is quite good, the film will open over 30cr nett but that's not a concern, the problem for SRK is word of mouth. He desperately needs good audience reception with this one.
  9. The reports I received is that the first half is great but the second half is unconventional and many found it average.
  10. December 06-08, 2018 Week 50. Top Box Office Admission in UAE Poor weekend overall. Mortal Engines #1 followed by Kedarnath
  11. Spider Man Into The Spider Verse $13mn Approx Friday. The Mule $6.25mn Friday. Mortal Engine $3.25mn
  12. Indian animation sucks. Sucks badly. Most of them are basically "mythological" or "religious" stories. The highest grossing animation is Chaar Sahibzaade with just ₹28cr ($4.5mn). The second best is less than ₹7cr ($1mn). Hollywood animation have their niche, only Incredible 2 is able to cross ₹50cr. No other film managed even ₹30cr. Top Animation films in India
  13. Ralph had sequel factor and Wednesday, here its Friday. Should be bigger "x". Said that +/- $500k give or take.
  14. Just came out watching Spider Man: Into The Spider Verse, pretty sure its best Spidey film, however my favourite remain Homecoming. *hide* Opening is poor in India, however, on expected note though, animations are weak here.
  15. $17mn opening day I feel. Saturday would be around same and $14mn Sunday. $45-50mn weekend.
