"Honey I shrunk the kids". Freddy and Jason both had sequels. Lethal Weapon 2 also dropped that summer. It was just Big that summer.

This is the way I see it.
$320m was grossed in China for robotic dinosaurs in a boring fucking movie.
$390m was grossed this year in China for Furious 7 (I still don't understand the Furious appeal).
And now, we got a movie that has real dinosaurs, not robotic ones; and it was entertaining as fuck.
I mean come on, people who have seen the movie, wasn't the finale epic?!
I sure as hell enjoyed it a lot more than AoU..
