Japanese trailer totally packed with new scenes
This looks insane visually, so many monsters and explosive colors, it have a vibe of a Chinese movie tbh
This looks really good to me. Silly, but good.

I like the fact that nowadays we are all sure this is going to do relatively poorly without need for any tracking what-so-ever, so this thread is a lot lighter than it could have been so far.
Let's see if this remains so once The Marvels wave passes us by and pre-sales starts.
The anger and fighting over DC films bombing is long past. Nobody really cares anymore. Its met with mostly a shrug at this point. Not even MCU fans troll DC stuff anymore much, it's boring.
This is still new for the MCU, so their fanbase is very angry and taking things personal, so the threads reflect that.

Zassy boy literally has destroyed WB lol.
This would imply WB was in good shape before him.

Disappointed the interviewer didn't ask him about his feelings on his age/mortality to see Ridley get all grumpy and call him a 'fucking pussy' or something
oh, word
I hope this comes true. I love that book.
I've read all Zahlers novels and graphic novels but I think this is my favorite of them.

I've got my tickets for Sunday. Not particularly looking forward to it.
Sometimes I don't know if seeing a movie every single week is noble to support them, a bad habit, or a masochist tendency with some of the films I end up seeing.

Looks good to me. I think Wes Ball is a n under rated director and really enjoyed the first Maze Runner.
For the last films, it's funny I think Reeves made the best film (Dawn) and the worst (War).
I know I'm in the minority but The Batman felt like War for me as well. The same style and issues I had were present in both.. Overly long, poorly paced, dull and dour with uninteresting characters.

Why is this the character you seem to be going after and have an obvious bone to pick with when literally none of the big complaints about the Avengers game have to do with 'she's in it'. Again you keep ignoring how the awful E3 trailer is what's commonly cited as the beginning of the end for the game in addition to poor reviews, a live service model nobody liked, poor graphics, poor gameplay etc
An obvious dogwhistle which you're not very good at masking.
Yeah no need to continue this conversation when you need to jump to pathetic things like that accusation because some comic book media you like got criticized.
You lied, I called you out on it and now you resort to that. Sad stuff.

The E3 trailer that pretty much everyone blames for killing interest in the game? Come on dude, you know what you're doing.
And what am I doing?

Ms. Marvel was the least of that game's problems and you know it. What was even the point of bringing it up.
What's the point of a poster lying about Ms. Marvel being featured in trailers and you giving it a thumbs up?
It was well known she was the main character. I can post lots of trailers and articles easily disproving that lie.
She was the lead character of a game that lost the publisher over $100M. She had her own TV show that barely anyone watched. And now she's a co-lead of what is going to be a bomb.
At a certain point you have to call a spade a spade. People aren't interested in the character in a mainstream sense. It is what it is. If Marvel wants to keep pushing the character that's fine but it'll likely result in people tuning out, as evidenced by a game, a TV show and now a movie. I was merely listing examples to back this up, nothing more, nothing less.

Putting this on Ms. Marvel is ridiculous when she was barely featured in those trailers.
This is just not true unless you stopped paying attention after 1 single trailer.
Other than that original E3 trailer she is featured heavily in the trailers

That's actually wild, all this Ms marvel love considering people in here were just talking about how nobody cares about her
Within the last few years Ms.Marvel will have been the star of:
A massive failure of an Avengers game that bombed
The least watched MCU show
And now what looks to be the biggest bomb of the MCU

FNAF seems to have had a solid hold internationally. Peacock playing that big a reason? Maybe their just wasn't that fan rush to see it OW like there was domestic.

I recall a lot of people calling Gadot an awful actor and body-shaming her (even though she looked great in the trailers). John Campea was on this insane crusade against her, endlessly crying about how the role should have gone to Jaimie Alexander.

I’m not omnipresent. I think it goes with the territory that a film featuring a woman as the lead to face backlash from bigots and men that try way too hard to like women but in truth hate them. What I’m saying is that the amount of vitriol and downright hate for this film and people that are part of this project is off the charts for anything I’ve followed before. Captain Marvel’s thread here was bad, but not nearly as bad as what we have right now. What I’m saying is that comparing the overall sentiment on BOT for either Wonder Woman or Captain Marvel can be compared with The Marvels.
You know that's a lie.
Anybody that was around the time BVS came out and followed the industry even a little knows the amount of vitriol Snyder and DC received was 100x worse than this mild stuff you are complaining about.
Wonder Woman had stuff like this happening to it, some random saying it's a disaster and the entire internet taking it as fact to the point Patty Jenkins had to speak out about it.

Lol it is nothing remotely like the lead up to Wonder Woman. Nobody was saying Wonder Woman was going to result in Justice League being cancelled
You're right. Wonder Woman was 20x worse than this.

This isn’t the Wonder Woman thread, but as a long time poster here you and I remember the amount of hype surrounding Wonder Woman - and long time fans of the superhero genre posters here - very differently. I remember standing shoulder to shoulder with @Cochofles hyping the shit out of that film and I don’t remember any crazies talking about Wonder Woman’s armpit hair (?!) here or elsewhere either. There was apprehensiveness if Jenkins was going to pull it off, but people were rightfully rooting and cheering for that film here;
Are you suggesting people weren't attacking wonder woman before release anywhere? Or just on here.

so uh, what if superman legacy flops and gunns dcu struggles.
They let him cancel and scrap pretty much everything except Reeves Batman universe. I have no doubt he would scrap that too if he was allowed.
Then what?

The only upside is that now presumably we never have to hear about Marvel movies "monopolizing" screens from Oscar movies or whatever the fuck.
I don't know what the point of this snark is when it's been well documented that Disney likes to strong arm theatres and by extension hurts smaller films.

Marvel is in shambles right now. That article is pretty scathing of the dysfunction. That Blade script sounds horrendously bad.
The TV series are the crux of the issues. Feige is one man and and its too much content.
Drop them. Get back to basics and just stick with films.
Also retool stuff like Thunderbolts top to bottom or toss it out. That line up of characters is beyond sad.

I straight up disliked Cap in his first film and avengers. Found him very annoying.TWS made me like the character and I never stopped liking him after.
