    Thanks for clarifying to him. He is spreading this on r/boxoffice also. That Avengers Endgame is not having 5 day weekend. Weekend doesn't mean holiday for a country. It means the amount of money it has earned through first Sunday.

    Yes 5 days. Disney is trying to create 1B WW OW I think. And 5 day in China is very big. I am expecting around 260M+/- from China in 5 days. And if it gets a 9+ rating on Maoyan.. Then OMG..

    Shazam is doing Ok. Positive reviews have not bumped the sales like BP or WW.  Also people should remember Aquaman came out in Christmas so these presales of Aquaman are more likely for the holiday period and not concentrated towards OW. My Prediction for Shazam is... 45M+/- OW and a total of 180M. I am expecting a very less drop in second and 3rd weekend as this movie will play into word of mouth.

    Brie Larson/Captain Marvel has suddenly become a big Lesbian Icon. Her fandom is far more active considering she is new to Blockbuster movie business. She is gaining a lot of support on social media.

    Here is what I think: Imo BvS damaged DC brand a lot. Many fans like me were highly Anticipating BvS. I booked 3 tickets for myself over the weekend. But only went on Thursday night. I was disappointed and can't fathom that Synder just blew up the franchise in matter of time. Whenever I think of BvS now, I genuinely feel sad. Synder don't respect comics like James Wan, James Gunn, Patty Jenkins, Russo Bros., Ryan Coogler. Yes, you can do innovative characterisation but you also have to respect comics.

    I don't understand fanboy wars. If you are a MCU fan you should root for DCEU so that Marvel Studios makes more good movies. If you are DCEU fans you will root for MCU so that superheros stay relevant.

    April 2 is the start of Endgame selling tickets. I am 100% certain it will have some effect on Shazam. Probably 45M+/- OW seems legit and good for a 90m production.

    From my point of view many people in BOT are not happy that CM got this good reception. Whatever you want to call it. CM was the first introduction of new character unlike Aquaman and BP and still made it to 1B+ Besides its budget is only 152M less than AQ and BP. So suck it up. 😁😁
