I was going to say "check the first page." Then I checked the first page briefly as a precaution, and was surprised to find this one wasn't included. This "report" page has a simple breakdown of sales by day up through the upcoming Sunday (and farther for upcoming releases) http://akvalley.pythonanywhere.com/static/fandango_report.txt

But what does these presale numbers for FSS mean? Does it mean it will have higher money than other movies?

It is a re-expansion. It's roughly doubling the theater count domestically, maybe more. Obviously not a re-release, that hasn't been a good way to describe it at any point since we first heard about it. Something obviously can't be "re-released" when it's in the tenth week of actual release.

Imo, Re expansion is used to discribe something lasting at least 2 weeks. This is just in 4 days and after that, everything turns back to its "normal run".

It should be called little boost for FFH or expasion 4 days.

On a global scale, it is even worse.... my country at this point wont have it and many other countries also...

In the domestic market, generally all theatres will release showtimes for Friday - Thursday.

So the fact that the showtimes for Endgame end on Monday when Spiderman opens, while the rest of the movies in release continue to have showtimes on Wednesday - Thursday posted already, it's a pretty good indication that those 900+ theatres that are re-adding it this weekend are only doing so for the weekend. And as I mentioned, AMC seems to only be giving it two showtimes a day.

To be quite honest, and this is coming from someone who has been quite optimistic in this thread, I find this to be a rather disappointing "re-release" or whatever they are calling it. It's going to be too short lived and too small scale to make much of a difference.

Unless they are also planning a Labor Day re-release, I don't see how it makes it past the finish line at this point.

At least with Labor Day they might have been able to get IMAX and PLF screens back. Currently they are all taken though.

    Oh well.
I guess if it doesn't make the record, it doesn't make the record.

And we still can call it "rerelease" or "reexpansion" at this point? LoL

domestic I don’t see theaters having listing beyond monday. So once Spidey opens I see theater counts drop as well. its not going to have inflated theater counts for too long. its a quick weekend boost for fanbase. It will continue its “normal” run for a while until digital release.

And we still consider this as "re-release" or "re expansion"? Lol

Very impressed with Aladdin's numbers and depending on how Child's Play... plays it should get another top 3 weekend. Also with this number Aladdin gets its 3x multiplier in 28 days.

ALSO Aladdin becomes the first 2019 movie to not drop below $2 million in its first month in theaters. Of course the summer helped, but beating Captain Marvel (24 days over $2 million) and even Endgame (26 days) is mighty impressive either way.

Prediction for EG this weekend? How much drop?

India there is no comScore to counter any claim. There is Box Office India named portal which is considered as the best tracking portal in India by industry and box office addicts.

As per BOI, Avatar grossed ₹78cr i.e. $16.25mn while Fox claim over ₹110cr.

Fun fact, as per Disney Endgame has grossed $61.5mn while local trade has it at $63.5mn. lol.

Wtf..... EG lost $2m in India because of Disney?

  9. No, Vietnam number (272B) is wrong. That reported number from BOVN website still lacks at least 31B.

When Disney/CGV made an announcement that EG already crossed $10M = 233B VND there, that website still displayed 202B. I asked them and they said they lost data of some days during the OW (because the website was broken due to high number) and the website also could not get the numbers from other group of minor theaters in the countries. They could not interfere with the system (to add the lost data) too so they just let it be that....

    So we can expect 272.9 + ~31 = ~304B VND
