Top Weekend June 27-30th
- Toy Story 4
- Anabelle 3
- Aladdin
- Men in Black International
- John Wick 3
Toy Story 4 easily held the top spot, obviously, given that it came from a 3,5m USD OW. Anabelle 3, however, did fairly well, the showtimes I checked over the weekend were pretty full and I think it posted a solid debut (not that we will ever know)
How long is the re-expansion of EG in Chile?

Weekend estimates. Annabelle grossed 15% more than the previous part. Toy Story 4 dropped only by 26%/

So EG got around $220k ....

When will we have the update for screen count this Tuesday?

Spider-Man is killing it an Empire 25 AMC for tomorrow's showings (though midnight is not so hot).
But as of tomorrow, they have 54 showtimes for Tuesday (!), 13 of which are almost sold out. They even have a Mandarin subtitled show almost sold out!
Very good comp to Endgame.So... how many screens will endgame lose on Tuesday?

I dont know why EG dont get the re-release in South Korea and India so far.
It is the highest admissions foreign movie in South Korea so far ( 13.93M admissisions, $105M)
It is top foreign movie in India too ( 22M admissions, $63M)

I’m sure that it’ll add a sizable amount once it hits here. I just hope it happens this week because with Spider-Man: Far From Home it’s be completely absurd.
But is the source which confirmed the rerelease in Brazil, reliable?

There are still some big markets of Endgame which not yet confirmed the re release, maybe they wont
South Korea
India
Japan
Indonesia
...

Confirmed, but we don’t have a date for the re-release yet. I’ll try to find out today.
Brazil is one of the big market of Endgame, hope it can last there at least a week.

Have Brazil confirmed this "re-release" yet?

Prediction for next weekend?

Well that certainly changes things. Now I'm all of a sudden pretty confident it will come within $6-5 million of the record in its current run, so not a whole lot for Disney to make up for in late August or whenever.
So can anyone explain where the extra 3 million came from? Was the weekend that much bigger or did we simply have unreported numbers for the weekdays? Or was this Disney's stash (OS reserve if you will) and they let it go to change the conversation which seemed to lean much more into the "the failed".
Disney always estimate the weekend. Maybe with the "re-release", they didnt know what to expected, so it should be safe for them to just predicte this weekend = flat or just a little higher than the last weekend first....

Czechia will get not-rerelease in two weeks. I don’t know what numbers to expect, but $250k total would be awesome
What does this mean?

At just 14:30, nice. Seems like it won't end that far behind CM PS, expecting a better multi -- though not sure how Tues opening is likely to affect either of those.
What will be the final number of admissions for EG in SK?

Los Japon debuts at #2, Child's Play at #4, Endgame rises to #7, The Dead Don't Die at #9 and the Matrix re-release debuts at #10. No signs of A Dog's Journey
Dont know if EG can hit 29m euro?

Will this be enough to beat avatar??
It can not beat Avatar with this longer version (it needs extended cut rather than this after credit scence) and improper limited rerelease worldwide.

Charlie's number of EG is largely exaggerated but he stand on EG having higher admission than Avatar is quite reasonable and realistic. I have the same thought but never expect the gap to be that wide.
Hmm? Exaggerated? Wasn't it based on reports about money number and admission number from overseas markets with sources?

If admissions is the metric shouldn't the comparison be Endgame vs Titanic?
That idea already posted on some previous pages in this thread by Charlie after he completed the admissions estimate for EG (After seeing the gap between EG and Avatar and saw that EG and Tinatic are more comparable and Avatar and IW are more comparable because they are quite in the same rang of admissions).
My guest is that Titanic first run is 380-390 and after the re-release, it passed 400

So it is confirmed that we can get access to the data anymore?

Wait. Is there other way to know the tickets sold or at least know how is the movie performing?
