    I will 100% be doing it. It is incredibly fast to count because you can open all of the seat maps for showings of a movie at the same time, and using Inspect Element, they are counted in a second. The slowest part will be opening every seat map.

    Can confirm no social distancing at Megaplexs. I live in Utah. Never tracked here just in case @A Star is Orm wanted to expand their tracking. Would definitely be an interesting chain to track, they always do super well with Star Wars and Marvel. One of them was the top theater for Rogue One OW, with 3 others in the top 20. They also had multiple top 25 theaters for The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker. I may take up the helm.

    My MTC2 theaters are doing better with Fast 9 than Black Widow, but in my MTC1, F9 is being handily beat by BW.

    The OK news, I guess, is that if Fast 9 keeps the current pace from the past few days, the Hobbs adjusted comp will be 9.57M with T-6 days to go. But the Quiet Place comp will continue dropping to 8.15M. It all depends just how backloaded presales are. Hobbs went almost 6x from T-6 days to the final count, AQP2 exactly 5x. But note that AQP2 started at 5PM, and Hobbs at 7PM(same as Fast 9), so that probably skews the multiplier a bit in favor of later start times. Of course, there's also the pre-pandemic and post-pandemic(not quite really) presales factor to consider. This should be a good test of that.

I'm guessing that Black Widow will be in at least 4000 theaters, so I used that as an estimate. Also adjusted a bit for Canada. But again, take this with a grain of salt. Like @Lokis Legion was saying yesterday, Fast 9 will probably be the best comp for this. Obviously we won't have that for a while.

    Yeah, I've noticed them at my Cinemarks too. There is actually one that has sold at 7:30, but it did so before Black Widow tickets/PWPs were on sale. Noticed when I was setting up my tracking sheet. Might've been an employee that got to reserve it before it went public. But that's the only one that has sold, so I'm not gonna worry about it unless there's a decent amount selling.

    In Denver, it’s just one seat between parties for the most part. There’s the occasional two seats between parties, even when most are just one seat between in the same showing, idk why some are like that.

    The question for Denver is when AMC will stop blocking seats. Isn’t really hurting anything currently, but I wonder if they’ll be flipping the switch on June 15th. Still doesn’t make sense why they haven’t done so for Fast 9 and Black Widow though. Might just be easier to wait until then for the system?
