Wow I can’t believe that is the lowest rated MCU movie from critics and audiences… Initial reaction is a top 5 MCU.

Eternals Megaplex Saturday(195 showings) 4538(+1168)/52564(+260) in 15 theaters 95.9% of what Friday was at the same time yesterday. Dune's Sat was 96.3% of its Fri. Didn't count for NTTD at this time, so no comparison there. But like yesterday, though on limited data, nothing seems out of the norm. Hard to draw conclusions from this, especially since Dune overperformed in Megaplex. May or may not update in the morning.

But that's normal in this chain because they open earlier on Saturdays. Dune's Sat was 23.7% ahead of its Fri at the same time for example.

I guess for comparison's sake, Dune's afternoon Sat T-1 was 88.3% of its Fri T-1, and NTTD was 84.9%. So seems normal.

Eternals Megaplex Friday(188 showings): 5257(+527)/51921 in 15 theaters Shang-Chi comp: 25.87M Adjusted Black Widow comp: 15.59M Both comps went up, so I suppose that's a good sign. The preview number ended up being a weighted average of 75% and 25% for the SC and BW Thursday comps. If I apply that here, the number ends up being 23.3M. But the preview number seemed to indicated that late walkups were relatively weak, so I'll chop off 500K and go with 22.8M

Yeah I doubt this factor will be seen in the numbers, even in the Provo area. Geneva Megaplex is still extremely strong as usual. Plus you have to consider the demographics of those that are actually going to MCU movies, especially to Thursday previews, and the impact lessens more from however small it was already
