  1. Let's hope, Chaos Walking is finally going to be released. There's also a film planned by the directors of "Ready or Not", called "The Ice Beneath Her" (an adaptation of a Swedish crime novel), Ridley was in talks to be starring in.
  2. Pre-sales are strong for Tenet and in the countries, where it's already released, I heard of sold-out screenings (e.g. in Norway). In one cinema in my city in Germany, they have a screening on thursday with 90 sold tickets and that's just one cinema and one screening. In China alone, it's projected to make 100M. I strongly believe, Tenet will make its money back, even with close to no BO from the US. And if that's the case, WW84 and Dune (if it's ready) are going to stay in 2020 and maybe Black Widow will be theatrically released after all.
  3. The design reminds me a lot of the Trigun logo (especially with the bullet holes).
  4. Maybe it'll just be the trailer for Judas and the Black Messiah that was released recently.
  5. Yeah. 自殺突擊隊 (Zìsha tújí duì) is Chinese for "Suicide Commando Unit". The Japanese name for the Suicide Squad is スーサイド・スクワッド (Suusaido Sukuwaddo), which is literally just the English name in Japanese syllables. 自殺突撃隊 (Jisatsu Totsugekitai) would be the Japanese equivalent to the Chinese name, but as far as I found out, this isn't used. It uses mostly the same characters, except the fourth is subtly different.
  6. I've heard from someone who works at a German cinema that they got information from Disney that the release is delayed two weeks to Sep 10
  7. Through press screenings? Not every movie has red carpet premieres. And even when a movie has premiere events, not every critic can travel to Hollywood (or London for the Europeans) to attend them.
  8. I guess it means: If the film screens in an IMAX theatre (whenever this will be), 30 minutes of it will be presented in the bigger aspect ratio
  9. Germany. But it's apparently just my city. I found other cinemas (e.g. in Berlin or Hamburg) that are screening Inception this week.
  10. Looks like my cinema pushed back the Inception re-release another 4 weeks (new date: Aug 27, new date for Tenet: Sep 10) But it's an independent arthouse cinema, so maybe they just plan the film a few weeks later than the mainstream cinema chains which got more screens.
  11. An arthouse cinema in my city (Germany) just posted a few hours ago that they're going to show Inception starting Jul 30 Edit: Source:
  12. Do you have a source for Germany? I only found the article by filmstarts.de and they just reference the tweet by Steven Zeitchik as source.
  13. #1 with a box office of 220k € and an audience of 27k in 384 theatres (finally, most theatres have reopened again). That's not too bad given the circumstances.
