That would come down to individual states i think, like in NY you need vaccine to go to indoor places but in a lot of states there is no requirement and I doubt it will come especially since theaters will have to deal with loss of revenue -

I think NWH will be an unreachable total for any future "solo" superhero movie especially without China -

TBF Comic Book movies are way bigger now everywhere than they were during the Nolan trilogy days, I always harken to Aquaman which made $521 mil overseas (NOT including its china gross) I don't see why a really good batman film couldn't do that or even better assuming covid isn't causing shutdowns

I think the spidey level even is also relative, The highest grossing DCEU film ever is at $1.148 bil and WB probably thinks The Batman can get close to that so it would be kind of like NWH which is gonna becoming the 3rd highest grossing mcu film ever and #2 if you take out china grosses

Why was that even a question about WB moving Batman? Covid impacts adult dramas, its been minimal in impacting big tentpole movies, i mean Venom Carnage made more or less the same exact domestically as the 1st one and that too with lots of competition. If studios are gonna delay every time cases start rising a bit then they should just shut down operations for good cause this isn't going away

Good reception and strong box office even if its significant under Avatar is fine as long as Cameron can deliver the sequels in timely manner, he says basically every 2 years from now to the end in 2028, if he can deliver what we expect then i can't imagine the numbers by the end

Batman begins came after the last installment was the failed clooney version, this one gets to follow after arguably the greatest cb movie trilogy ever, heck even those mediocre tasm movies made like 600mil a piece iirc, if the batman is good its gonna do super numbers -

33mil next weekend would be a drop of only 34% assuming a 50mil this weekend, TFA had a 53% drop from weekend 3 to 4, i'd guess something like 25 mil next weekend
