    I read that Oppenheimer at 100 mil prod budget needs to make $400 mil to turn a profit and apparently it was the same for Venom 1 (100mil budget as well) so maybe Uncharted is truly at like 450m to make a profit?

    Aquaman made over 1.1 billion after the flop that was Justice League, maybe bad feelings/lack of trust affects OW a little but if this movie is all its made out to be its gonna print money and all those bad feelings will be washed away

    people showing up to the theaters to watch a movie after its OW is a better sign of whether they liked it than imdb which we know gets bombed all the time, i've seen movies with great audience scores/cinemascore that have shitty legs so clearly the general public didn't care about it as much as more hardcore movie fans did

    WOM >> Hype Aquaman had a 65m OW compared to 166 for BvS and Aquaman finished with the higher DOM total

    BvS opened to 166m and TDKR would have done like 190-195m OW if not for aurora so yeah the batman doesn't have that kind of hype and nor should it be expected to, Homecoming did 117m OW, doing better than that would be amazing for the 1st reeves movie

    Suicide Squad made almost 750m without china and had really good multipliers in most markets, even better DOM multiplier than Civil War and BvS and only about 80m short of the former domestically iirc The Suicide Squad was a megaflop on the other hand
