  1. This “11 years of waiting” stuff is so silly. We didn’t even know Thanos was involved until the 2012 after credits scene, and 95% of y’all were googling who he was from the theater. 😂

Still, this movie is a behemoth and I can’t wait to see it tomorrow.

Nothing more than a desperate attempt by WB to get it in to the 2018 domestic box office Top 10 LOL. Simply the latest re-expansion after the 101 previous for this film. Imagine pissing away millions of dollars to "achieve" a statistic that will be meaningless to begin with because it was contrived.

“Shallow” finally hits #1 on the Hot 100 this week. 🙌🙌

We like our animations like real animations. Not these trashy gimmicks inserted by Lord Miller. This is why LEGO and Spider-Verse will always underperform/bomb OS. Always. We like the real deal, not some crappy looking shit that hurts the eyes.

Lord Miller doing animations is a MISTAKE.

    YOU MUST BE STOPPED

  4. I just can’t help but feel like the DC movies are still bigger than most of the Marvel movies because the characters are more well known. Shazam (Captain Marvel) was rivaling Superman in popularity at one point, and Aquaman may have been known as a joke in some aspects, but people still knew that character in popular culture.

Ant-Man was never known outside of the comics and a couple of short-lived Avengers cartoons.

I haven't seen most of the front runners yet, but I can't be too sad about Bohemian Rhapsody winning over A Star is Born...I mean, it's the best version of its movie, since it's the only one done...I've heard many folks say A Star is Born isn't as good an previous editions, so what would truly make it worthy of the top spot over a premier concept?  I always support the new over the redone...even if the redone seems like it was done spectacularly well...maybe the Globes did as well...

    ...say what now?

Seeing that list makes me wonder about a potential biopic of Madonna.

She has been such a major force in music and such a public, in-your-face, divisive artist...I am curious in regard to how a film about her life would do at the box office.

Wasn't there a highly acclaimed unproduced script about her life floating around Hollywood? What happened to that?

There were a couple of fun TV movies made about her in the ‘90s.

Also, after seeing Vice, the tepid numbers make sense. Those expecting easy Republican satire given McKay’s involvement won’t find it (which is probably what led to that low-ish CinemaScore grade), and the film doesn’t shine a light on anything that we didn’t already know. Movies about politics will continue to do meh business for the foreseeable future.

That won’t stop studios from spending $80 million on a fucking movie about Dick Cheney, though.
