  1. When in god's name would Walter Jr kill Walt? What, is he coming for his family with the M60?
  2. Thinking on it, no fucking way do Jesse and Walt ever reconcile. If Walt does launch a rescue for Jesse, Jesse is absolutely not forgiving Walt and will kill him. Between Jane, Brock, attempting to have him executed, sending him to be tortured (and albeit unknowingly, selling him into slavery) and now being indirectly responsible for Andrea's murder. Jesse's killing the shit out of that asshole if he ever sees him again.
  3. Yes, because awards are made to be given to shows lots of people watch. In a world where the most watched shows are absolutely dog shit like The Big Bang Theory and NCIS.
  4. I didn't really expect BB to win in the Best Actor or BSA categories. Based on the submitted episodes, at least. I think Paul could've won for "Madrigal" but he submitted "Buyout" instead which didn't exactly scream "Emmy"! Cranston was mostly playing egomaniac Walt this season, which while awesome, didn't quite hit the level of holy shit acting we've seen from him before. I'd have probably gone with "Fifty-One" instead too (though "Say My Name" would've been a close runner-up). Mike was a much more subdued character emotionally so while Banks' reaction to being totally vulnerable in that episode was heartbreaking, the competition deserved it more. That said, I hate to expect anything reasonable from the Emmys, the stars are all aligned for a sweep next year. In addition to it being the farewell season everyone involved has been knocking it out of the park even by this show's standards. Everybody's been turning in arguably their best work of the series i.e. Aaron Paul in "Confessions". But while I'd like to say that Cranston tied his Emmy up with the phone call at the end of "Ozymandias", it's worth noting that these are the same people who didn't give him the win for "Crawl Space" back in season four and his performance in that episode is something that I'm not sure will be topped on that show.
  5. From what I've heard, this isn't even close.. You haven't heard anything.
  6. I'm happier with what we got. Rian Johnson>Del Toro.
  7. But he's TERRIFIED of Mr. White. Even when Walt was in cuffs, he was prepared for him to whip out a bomb or something and kill them all. Walt's constant immorality and attempts at manipulation throughout the show have left Jesse with no reason to think he's anything more than a complete sociopath.
  8. Not really, I knew the show would never kill off the lead or even Fiona (unfortunately), ESPECIALLY as part of the villains plan and not some sort of self-sacrifice. But it was cool to think that show would just go all out and have a "bad" ending like that. I don't know what changed for me, but the show is just too cheesy for me to enjoy at all. I didn't even watch the whole finale, just the last fifteen minutes. The production for the show has always been terrible and it's too bad they never got anything better with the success. The music particularly; a perfectly serviceable scene where someone might be saying something sad acting-wise would be completely undercut by the cheesy sad speech music.
  9. Oh I knew it. This show would absolutely never kill either of those two off. NO BALLS AT ALL
  10. What the fuck, did they just kill Michael and Fiona? I'm expecting some sort of shenanigans knowing this show, but if they seriously did that hats off to the writers for having some real balls. Too bad Jesse is somehow still alive after all this time I haven't been watching.
  11. "Hey babe. Everything is terrible. I have Walt, but he's probably got some crazy death squad coming here to kill us all. I just wanted to let you know I love you." If he had said that, everything would be fine right now.
  12. fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK FUCK FUCK
  13. Unless they're planning on turning Walter face, they have to keep Jesse around to the end. Because Hank alienated the shit out of everyone last episode so now Pinkman's our last guy to cheer for.Thought: what if the job Walt has for Todd's uncle actually isn't killing Jesse but faking his own death?
  14. That episode was half and half. The stuff with Jeff and his dad was probably the best the show was all season, but the Thanksgiving stuff was pretty bad. I think that really goes to show that if the show had continued as a more straight-forward sitcom and just not attempted to do the gimmicks and parodies anymore it would have been a much better season. I could have handled something more like Season One.
  15. I think that's why it was so depressing. The last person Jesse had on his side was Walt and now he's turned against him. Very sad.
  16. Yeah I was worried at the beginning of the second half that Hank and Walt was such a big angle that Jesse would be relegated to the sidelines or written off completely but he's quickly become the focal point of the show. Hank has become so unsympathetic so fast that now Jesse has got to stick around unless Walt is going to be the protagonist in the end.
  17. I think that whatever happens with the lid getting blown off everything that leads us to the flashfowards goes down next week. If not then, definitely the week after next. Now we have Jesse with a new master plan to bust Walt, certain that Walt is out to murder him Hank with a new master plan from Jesse, not giving a shit if Jesse lives or dies Walt actually out to murder Jesse, meaning any issue Jesse has with him is justified There's no resolution anymore. Any hope of things getting fixed just went out the window and we're looking at either Walt getting busted, Jesse dying, or both. This is depressing.
  18. This is almost deflating. Things were shifting back towards Walt as the protagonist with him looking out for Jesse and Hank using him, but now it's all ruined. Nobody's getting out of this clean.
  19. I think this is a very important moment in observing Walt's morality. He is the one who is violently opposed to murder where Skylar and Saul are trying to convince him. He's adamant that Hank not be harmed, and now more tellingly Jesse.
  20. I'm rewatching as well, and I'm wondering. Is there a shot in hell Aaron Paul doesn't walk away with another Emmy for this episode? I don't think he'll get it for "Buyout" unless the field isn't too strong but I just don't think there's any way that that doesn't get an award. Then again, Bryan Cranston only got nominated for "Crawl Space" so anything's possible.
