true so then it's a good thing that TM is missing chunks of the movie as quite a few reactions reported. Moves at least faster if not further and higher too pacing-wise.

i see what you did there.

Edited to add, they didn’t really do a good job forcing that phrase/tag line. It’s so awkward while “Wakanda forever” feels so much more smooth.

First Avengers trailer is very old school dated something from like 2002 lol

2nd trailer has likely one of the most famous shots in comic book history

This shot is what allowed the avengers to smash the opening weekend record.

10 years ago, there were people on here arguing that this shot wasn't iconic. They were wrong then and wrong now. That 100 avengers running against Thanos shot in Endgame doesn't even compare to this. So simple yet effective.

You could replace Brie Larson with an old cabbage in any of her blockbusters - be it Kong, CM or Fast X - and the difference would be negligible. In fact, it would probable generate more interest.

She can act, but she comes across terribly in any blockbuster role. It's not a fit for every A-lister, and that's got nothing to do with misogynism. I hope she finds peace and can shine in some smaller movies after this trainwreck.

Floo recognize flop? Fail of a meme considering one was in endgame and he other in Avatar.

Original Avengers is one of my all time favorite theatrical experience, but let’s not pretend those trailers weren’t shit. The quality of the film was a mega surprise.

    This trailer

    and this extended super bowl

    spot

are some of the best marketing I’ve ever seen for a movie and threw my hype into the stratosphere. Joss Whedon doesn’t get enough credit for making a

movie with so much iconic imagery.

Their best movie and the movie that launched the franchise into INFINITY AND BEYOND happened under his leadership.

Kevin was running the MCU still, He was just under Ike instead of Iger/Horn(and whoever replaced Horn). Only thing they did was remove the middle man so no need to give Ike credit for any of those films. You can credit him for the cheap snacks at the premieres back then though.

Between Echo, Deadpool, Zombies, Daredevil, and this, it definitely feels like part of Marvels course correction is to try a bunch of R rated projects. Which is actually a cool step!

I'm quite excited about Marvel doing R rated projects, especially Blade. The studio getting out of its comfort zone could produce amazing results even if the box office is lower.

Almost every Phase 4 credit scene has received no follow-up yet. The number of dangling threads from those is a bit staggering at this point. The signal from the ten rings, Shang-Chi's sister's new criminal empire, Harry Styles, that cursed sword thing, Venom goo, Charlize, the Ted Lasso guy, baby T'Challa, evil Sharon Carter (ugh), and Moon Knight's third personality have all gotten no follow-up and there's no indication when, if ever, any of these will pay off.

I'm sure at least a few of these will eventually, but why tease projects that could be five years away instead of things already on the schedule?

It's like they forgot that people stayed for the after credit scenes to see what was going to happen in the next movie, not a movie 5-10 years away, if ever. Alot of these feel like random shit that they came up with on the fly.  Like why include Ali in that Eternals scene if there was no plan to have Kit Harrington in Blade? It makes no sense.

Do you think that I, a black American Muslim woman, agree with women being threatened with rape for any reason what-so-ever just because I pointed out that calling people misogynists and racists SOLELY because they don't want to give the Disney Corporation their hard earned money is silly? I think some people in here think I'm a white man or something and that's funny.

Oh no, of course not, and I'm black btw. I knew you were black too. I'm just pointing out the unhealthy relationship that fans, short for fanatic of course, have with media relationships. It's all fun and rosy at first but then when things turn sour, they lash out at whatever they perceive to be a threat to their continued joy with that media. One might say they need to touch grass but others might say that they were already mentally unhealthy anyways even without being obsessed with a corporate product.

Fans have always been pretty crazy in every fandom I've been in. Buffy fandom was so fucking toxic in the early 00's but, and I'm going off on a tangent here, its gotten really bad in the last 10 years or so with social media and fans basing their entire personality off of their favorite media/game/movie/show/singer/politician/whatever.
