It could do definately. I have it down for about a 5.9 to 6mil Thursday and about a 55mil 3rd weekend so if it does do that then i'm definately sticking with my 570mil total. -

Ha ha yeah. I'm still sticking to my 570mil total, i know people think thats too low (and it maybe in the end) but its numbers are in line of what i predicted in my rundown so i see no reason to change it yet. -

There is nothing wrong with not being a box office expert, there is also nothing wrong with putting over the top predictions but ijacksparrow takes that to the deluded extreme then attacks you if you go against his view or don't believe that The Avengers is the best movie of all time and is going to gross 5 billion worldwide and will still be grossing huge weekends at Christmas!.

I think a 9mil Monday coming off a 100mil weekend sounds about right to me for a non summer weekday, plus its the second Monday so i don't think it will hold as well as last week.

Well i did say earlier that it could get 9mil but i think it will fall between 8 and 9mil.

Thats what i was trying to say earlier, it will still be making small amounts in July and maybe August but big numbers and big weekends will be long gone by the start of July.

I was just going to reply to Ecstacy and say i haven't been on there in well over a year so it may of completely changed and by what you just posted, it has changed.

To be fair, SHH is a haven for TDK/Nolan fans and they can say pretty much what they want witn no consequences, i don't even look on there anymore and no film is safe against hate on there apart from Batman.

Titanic has haters, AVATAR has haters, TDK has haters, all big films do and it was only a matter of time before The Avengers gets it. Its a success thing, its almost like its part of our dna to hate success (well many of us, not all). The no.1 film of the year = 'shite', the no.1 song in the charts - 'awful song' etc, etc, etc.

What the hell are you talking about, i haven't said anything bad about this movie or its success. All i have said is that i thought people were getting carried away with the 'this is going to hit 700mil' style posts, i have said many times that i thought the film was a ggod film and that i enjoyed it. I swear you are losing it, you honestly are.

I have it at about 450mil, maybe a touch higher.

Er actually it couldn't, it would make about 31mil for the weekdays with a 50% drop which i see about right for the coming week. 30-35mil for Mon-Thurs and a 50-60mil 3rd weekend for a $450-460mil total by the end of its 3rd weekend.
