Same here! My box office OCD hates seeing 699 million

700 million died before the weekend began and not so sure about 600 million now. 50/50 on that for now. Luckily a 100 million OW animated movie isn't opening for the rest of the summer so should have pretty good legs from here on out.

Like someone said last week. BP is on cruise control. It will cross 700 million and be like “bye” I see it doing July 8th or 9th

I think FK will increase with actuals. Nice that it opened on the high end of expectations. It’s the new transformers films(well the first 3 at least) in terms of being a walk up franchise. All the Disney films in the top 10 got hit hard by FK. And Deadpool...❤️

All things considered that is a decent number for JW2. All the shade and very low OW predictions so many people were hoping for were wishful thinking. Will come in at the high end of tracking. I2 had bigger jump than i expected so that’s really really nice to see. Thought it would at least hit 90 million tho. Looks like JW2 and I2 are hurting each other. Black Panther or AIW won’t be challenged by I2 but it can still make a run at 600 million maybe. FANTASTIC hold for DP2. Really glad this movie has been able to stabilize after its 2nd weekend drop. Hoping it can reach 325-330 million. Excellent run Solo....should drop less than 50 percent so that’s nice. AIW took a big hit but that was expected. Should crawl to 680-682 million.

Is Hotel Artemis out of theaters already? It’s not on the theater count list unless i missed it

That 180 million movie also happened to be a Disney film. It’s a known fact that when a studio opens a blockbuster film, other films from that studio that are also still out benefit from it. Especially when Disney does it. JW is also opening in over 4400 theaters. Has there ever been two movies in over 4400 theaters at the same time? Idk. Those screens are gonna come from somewhere and i expect IW will be one of many films losing screens i expect it to drop 45-50 percent

Hmmm think that depends on how many theaters it holds onto. JW should hit it a bit but since IW is on its last legs it shouldn't be a colossal drop. It's screen count should take a hit though along with a few other movies like Solo, DP and HA.

I wouldn’t mind at all if this legged it’s way past BP. I loved this movie as much as BP. The action was done really really well and Jack-Jack and Elastigirl were the MVPs. Frozone is an honorable mention

Is it just me or did a lot of films outside of I2 not perform as well as past Father’s Day Sunday’s? Was expecting a few increases but looks like they either dropped or stayed flat

I would guess a lot of those films will increase on Sunday. And BP is not going to fall that much
