Yeah, it looks to be following FF6 drops so far. So even with a better Monday hold, I don't see it getting 20M, that's more than what FF6 did.

Next week there's a chance. Spidey is chasing that under 50% drop. It'll get there at least once for sure. And we'll all be there to cheer on it.

Just right above 90M. Keeping up the trend. But they're expecting a 20M for Monday? Isn't that a bit high?

We can all blame Shawn :PThat's normal though, every big movie have some out of normal range predictions. DOFP may not reach the 'insane' numbers, but it is still doing great for the X-series. Very great really.

That is...actually a fair accurate comparison But for DOFP, I think the typical X-legs will be more prominent domestically. OS will be different.

Could DOFP actually miss 90M? The rounded Fri number and the Sat drop is making its 3-day weekend estimate barely hanging above 90M.

I just checked the OS thread and Spidey total is now up to 475M by Thursday. Will see how DOFP affect it OS this weekend, but look like 500M is still good, not much more though.

Yeah, I was gonna say 500M+, but I didn't wanna jump ahead too much and got people too excited lol. Cause if it opens better than Cap and presumably have better legs than Spidey, which won't be hard, then 500M OS looks good.

Yeah, I'll wait and see too. But DOFP is opening quite better than CA2 in many markets, so even with weaker legs, I think a total of 450M+ wouldn't be too hard. Besides, the addition of 3D might not help out much domestically, but it'll definitely give it a boost in the OS markets. I think it'll be a close battle between the 3 superhero movies to see who's coming out on top WW.

If the early numbers is any indication (which is better than CA2 in many markets), DOFP would be looking at 450M+ OS. And depending on the domestic hold, it'll be aiming for 700M+ WW. Could beat out TASM2 and Cap for WW total even.

Okay, whose bad idea was it coming up with that thread title? I had to wade through several page to find the actual Sat estimate. Someone should put the page # of Rth update in the title.That seems like a typical Sat drop for X-Men, around FF6 drop last year.

My sister is not a big movie fan. I remembered she didn't watch Titanic until she was like 18. Before that, she was dismissing it as probably just another sappy generic love story chick flick. Then she finally watched and loved everything about it. Cried like a baby watching it too, lol.

One of the things I love most about JC is how great is he at handling his female characters. Make them heroines, not just supporting side characters or eyecandy. Honestly, not that many directors in Hollywood can or care to do that, which is a shame.
