Blue Jasmine (2013)

I thought the movie was either embarrassing itself by how it thinks real human beings actually acts like or doing its best to not screw up for Cate. 

 

Now, Blanchet performance is the only reason why this movie deserves to be watched at all, I know I could watch another 2 hours of her performing the same character. Such a tour de force.

 

My favorite unintentionally funny moment was when Augie appears from nowhere to tell Sarsgaard the truth about Jasmine, and once he finishes it, he walks away. That scene had me rolling by its phoniness.

 

If BJ is any good, it's because Cate Blanchet dilvers a flawless performance, I would go as far as to say that it's one of the great of all time. 65/100
