2001: ASO is master piece glad to see t made the list.  Both of these films in my top 10.

Synopsis: Gandalf and Aragorn lead the World of Men against Sauron's army to draw his gaze from Frodo and Sam as they approach Mount Doom with the One Ring.

 

Trivia: The Lord of the Rings trilogy became the most nominated film series in Academy Award history with 30 nominations, surpassing both the Godfather trilogy (28) and the Star Wars franchise (21).

That Godfather ranking is just awful ... absolutely awful. 

 

It will forever be my GOAT.

 

This is were you can blame riczhang a bit, he wouldn't split out film series, so I bet his points only went to Godfather II and 0 points for the other two
