A classic. This has beautiful singing, lovable characters, and a great final scene. In fact, this is better than both Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast. I liked the sequel also when I was younger, but I am afraid to rewatch it, as many say it's bad.

This is a great one.  And it ushered in the legendary Disney run of Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King.

The music and voices are incredible! Even now 23 years later I can sing along wonderful memories in this film

I didn't want to see this when I was 7 :PBut I do think this is a classic and the music is fantastic. And the comedy is great (Which is what I wish more animated films had at times, funny how some complained that Disney should stop making musicals-actually a lot but then loved Frozen, though that isn't as good as some say but still not bad, but that's another topic)

 

Still this film is quite fun.
