Universal just announced that its untitled R-rated astronaut comedy starring Zach Galifianakis, Bill Hader and Seth Rogen will hit theaters on May 26, 2017 counter-programming Walt Disney’s sequel Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. The three comedic actors star as a trio of spacemen who discover a mysterious craft and learn they’re not equipped to represent humankind in a battle of intelligent life. Writer/producer Rodney Rothman (22 Jump Street) is making his directorial debut here. Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver, under their Point Grey Pictures banner are producing.
