That’s 75% ahead of Bridesmaids, 115% on top of Sex Tape, and 450% over Trainwreck. Norway was likewise a No. 3 bow with $185K from 130 locations: +18% of Bridesmaids, +31% of Sex Tape, +58% of Trainwreck. In Finland, the comps are +45%, +16% and +75%, respectively with $100K at 100 dates. Bridesmaids ultimately legged to $119.3M offshore, Sex Tape climaxed with $88M and Trainwreck ended its journey at $31M. Spain was the top-grossing bow at $325K from 270 to turn the fire up 34% versus The Heat. Despite strong competition from Suicide Squad, the adult-skewed counterprogrammer had good holds and continues to outperform comps. In France, it opened No. 6 with $800K; Belgium was a No. 4 start with $305K from 50 locations — that’s 23% ahead of Bridesmaids, 45% over The Heat and 51% atop What To Expect When You’re Expecting. Denmark now has a cume of $696K (+25% on Bridesmaids, 88% ahead of Sex Tape, 430% over Trainwreck). Norway and Finland have cumed $543K and $288K, respectively. A key market on this sort of film, Australia bows next weekend as do the Netherlands and Sweden. Brazil, the UK and Mexico are later in August with Russia and Germany in September. 2 Quote

The R-rated comedy opened in the likes of South Africa ($143k from 65 sites) and Croatia ($173k from 31), while Australia took $1.84m for $5.89m after two weeks. BM still had a solid gross though and will still had for profitability. No worries. 1 Quote

Screendaily: R-rated hit Bad Moms brought in a further $2.5m from 61 markets as the tally climbed to $66.1m and the global haul reached $179.1m. The film opened at number four in Italy on $875k for 255 and stands at $9.3m in Germany after four and $11.6m and $10.9m in Australia and the UK after eight.
