Thursday Thread: Tomb Raider - $1.50m, Game Night - $575k

Recommended Posts

AWiT rose by 4.49% on Thursday.  Sign of family film legs kicking in?  Relatively speaking, that is.

Hmmm...

Comps:

(Recent-ish March family films)

BatB:         -3.8%

Oz:            -4.1%

Cinderella: +0.6%

(Underperforming Disney [Family] Films)

Tomorrowland: -1.4%

John Carter:     -7.5%

Alice 2:            -3.1%

The BFG:         +0.2%

Still behind Tomorrowland in raw gross, though.  Has a better theater count for this coming weekend on the other hand, and Sherlock Gnomes looks to be even worse received than AWiT.

So.  Interesting run as I said yesterday.
