Just over Beauty and the Beast 2017?

I approve.

I mean although I see somewhere between BH6 to DM1 numbers from Pigeon, NOD benefits from being a big family film and the lack of family films before it specifically targeting kids and not to mention it can attract adults with it’s darker tone but I don’t think it’s too dark to alienate kids. It will likely pull a Shrek 2 or a DM2.

This holiday season looks only marginally stronger than last year so the slate is wide open for NOD (and to a slightly lesser extent POE) to dominate.

Most definitely although I can see Wolves making money as well.

I hope it succeeds. Hunchback doing $300 million plus gives me hope for this to do well too. Although, Hunchback had the benefit of not having too much in its way in terms of direct competition. I.E. NOD is gonna steal IMAX screens in the film's second weekend.

POE is the other four quad movie, and yes while it’s impressive in IMAX, I feel mainly young women and men will be drawn to this more so it plays as a good alternative to NOD.

How’s the slate looking next December? :sparta:

Fraidy Cat or Inspector Gagdet (both possible Endless Animation titles) are opening near Christmas

I mean we haven't opened an Advance Schedule thread and probably won't for a while, so technically nothing is coming out at any point for sure yet.

The early IMAX release will hopefully get it two weeks in the format along with a build-up of word of mouth.

Oh yeah, I forgot that it’ll have too weeks mostly to itself with IMAX. It’ll do just fine then.

Saw opened October 29th and still had a 3x multiple.

Of course SH could make $64m total domestically and still be a success so :P
