Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)

Finally watched this and I thought it was fun but was only really engaged at the beginning flashback and the final 25mins.

 

- Rudd and Lilly were both good but their romance doesn't really work for me.

- Enjoyed the scenes with Scott and his daughter and the Pym family reunion. 

- Ant-Man/Wasp's and Ghost's powers make for some fun action sequences. 

- Michael Pena and crew were 50/50 for me. Some jokes landed while others just felt forced. 

- Ghost was a good antagonist and I liked her relationship with Fishburnes character.

 

- Pfeiffer was basically a cameo and was wasted in the role. Then she gets dusted in the mid credits scene as well lol.

- Lots of pointless filler characters. FBI and Goggins crew took up to much screen-time and were equally terrible. 

- Barely spent anytime in the qauntum realm. Just set up for the next film. 

- Mentioned before but a lot of the jokes didn't land this time around and they spent too much time forcing them (ex. truth serum gag)

 

Fun but feels like a filler arc for Infinity war. Franchise has lots of untapped potential though 7/10 (B-)

My feelings exactly - what a waste of Douglas and Pfeiffer
