Aladdin opened on a Wednesday and this is opening on Friday with Thursday previews but it looks pretty barren. Don´t think it´s getting close to that one here. That said I remember Aladdin tickets wasn´t close to be sold out when that came out in 2019. Thursday previews looks ok but Friday it´s not even selling out the one IMAX in the country. The second biggest theatre has sold barely any tickets. I don´t know if walkups can save it but it does have a big show allocations so I think they´re expecting a lot of them. Fast X are getting some IMAX showtimes over TLM which I´m surprised about. Across The Spider-Verse sales so far are good. Expecting a good last week. Should have no problem beating it´s predecessor. - Transformers looks DOA - The Flash is def not so far playing like a big CBM. Barely tickets sold after being for sale 2 days now. Shazam vibes But I´m not worried yet as the movie is still 2 weeks away. - TLM opened with 40k admits - Fast X had a solid hold - Vol 3 had an amazing hold. 11,7k admits the weekend before and this weekend 9,6k It´s a bit hard to gauge some of the pre-sales patterns but in time it will come. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

thajdikt Posted June 12, 2023 Share Posted June 12, 2023 Norway: - Spider-Verse stays at nr 1 this weekend with 15,970 admits. - Transfomers ROB is DOA as expected with only 11,961 admits OW - Little Mermaid is apporaching 100K admits but won´t go much further. 88k admits as of now. - Vol 3 looks to finish it´s run around 135K admits - Fast X looks to finish it´s rund around 140k admits. - Flash sales looks abysmal. Closer to Shazam than Vol 3 which also had weak sales. Need to see how Barbenheimer affects it. - Barbie sales are bonkers. Simply incredible. This will be BIG. - Oppenheimer is selling fantastic in IMAX as expected and looks to have a very strong debut aswell. - The Flash and Transformers flopped. - Elemental is doing ok so far.
