Love Seyfried (and now seeing her get "Academy Award Nominee" billing) and a fan of Wittrock but I dunno. This gave me similar cheesy vibes as the trailer for the Denzel-directed Michael B. Jordan movie did (same studio no less).

I take it that means this is releasing limited (though BO Pro did include their forecast for The French Dispatch in 50 theatres on Oct. 22).

Its listed as wide on the Numbers site. That may well change. Might be a Tammy Faye type situation where it get 500 screens and then opens wider after that. Seems optimistic that it gets a wide release at this stage with how dramas are performing.
