Me Before You's OW:$3.1M($3.7MTotal)

For comparison,TFIOS opened with $5.3M while Paper Towns with only $2.2M.

It's also bigger than the first Divergent.

:)

TFIOS was particular because it had incredible legs while MBY is unlikely to do the same.

There were previews for Me Before You in the previous weekend (Friday to Sunday). It was only 1 showing per day, at least in the cinemas in my city.

The Turtles also had previews but it was the whole week it seems, and with several showings and 3D.

I don't know if these OW numbers include the previews for both movies or not. If they are included in the Turtles OW, it looks even worse. :dunce:

Independence Day 2 opens this Thursday and Finding Dory the next week.

Finding Dory is clearly the most anticipated movie on Adorocinema, it's a good omen, I really have a good feeling : FD is likely to become Pixar's biggest movie there in USD, admissions and local currency

And then Ice Age comes a few weeks later to steal its thunder :D

I know you were talking about Pixar but I couldn't resist it! my whole family will be watching Finding Dory on OW over here...

It will get most of its revenues in the first weeks so it's fine. Plus, people wanting to watch Ice Age could want to watch Dory as well.
