Fullbuster
Notably, in Mexico where a key sequence of the film was shot during last year’s Day Of The Dead celebrations, Spectre more than doubled the 2012 debut of Skyfall with $4.5M.
Purple Minion
Spectre more than doubled Skyfall's OW in lc! 74,654,952 vs 34,980,914. At 2012 ER, it would have opened with US$5.75M. Full weekend numbers coming soon.

Purple Minion
I suspect this will be very front-loaded and will lose a lot of screens when MJ2 gets released. US$15M is doable but would be at the highest end of estimates.
Purple Minion
Could someone update the thread's title? Ta! Weekend numbers. Although we have not yet the numbers, really believed that animation could take the first place of Spectre.
Purple Minion
Numbers here (without the fancy colours!). Spectre fell about 50% and it's on its way to US$10M. Bit disappointing for The Little Prince, maybe the previews didn't help much or Spectre is taking all the theatres. At this rate a US$6M total would be a great achievement. 4 new openers, all below US$400K. However, Monday was a bank holiday so we could expect interesting weekly numbers by Friday. Rentrak tweeted that the Top 10 from Fri to Mon was the same as the one above. Edited November 17, 2015 by Purple Minion
Gabriel Sales
Do you believe in a total of US $ 6 million? I believe that The Little Prince can do more, close to $ 10 million (hope I'm correct ). If we add the last week of previews (US $ 348,000), which is common in other countries, The Little Prince would have been in the first place this weekend. Spectre (US $ 2,255.295) vs (US $ 2,316.871) The Little Prince Edited November 18, 2015 by Gabriel Sales

Purple Minion
Weekly numbers! The Monday bank holiday helped most of the films. The Little Prince got a bigger audience than Spectre, but lower ticket prices pushed it down the gross table. All eyes on MJ2 this weekend.

The fall in audience is even steeper, 12%. The Little Prince jumps back into #2, good hold.
