Tom Cruise vs Brad Pitt

What does BOT think? Who do you prefer in terms of ACTING! Not who's your favorite person, just ACTING. Who's better?

 

I say:

 

Better Actor: Let's give the edge to Cruise. He's a leading man since almost the beginning. He had to carry movies on his own. I also like his intensity on screen more. Not many movies where he's overshadowed by his co stars. Not many movies where he simply stunk. Brad Pitt has some movies where he's the main actor when he simply stunk: Seven Years In Tibet, Meet Joe Black

 

Better Filmography: Brad Pitt by miles. Even though he was not the lead in some of his best movies, he still has a knack for choosing great material.

 

Who will be more remembered in 100 years: Even though Brad Pitt has a better filmography, i think, strictly as an actor, Tom's movies will stand the test of time more.

 

So, the question is who do you prefer in terms of acting? Share your thoughts pls.

Well they've had one movie where they acted head-to-head and Cruise blasts Pitt off the screen in that one so...

What? This can't be real. His flop movies have aged better than Cruise's BO hits. The only thing that Pitt has over his peers is his longivity. Brad has way more classics.

30 years ago..both are at the same level in acting. Neither were great.
