Loads of fun. Some scenes I will admit would freak out young kids. But overall a fun b-movie type experience. Loved the voice work, Landau was great. Edgar made laugh with his voice. Great score also.

6.5/10 B- Is a great (and very emotional) movie until the third act, then everything falls apart, It becomes a generic mess.

saw this on tv. the score needed to shut up and the action in the end was boring as hell. i liked the science teacher the most. mostly generic rubbish.

Moment that Burton finally jumped the shark with homages to old the horror films. Frankenweenie never felt like its own thing and "simpletons fight what they understand" has already been done better, including by Burton hilmself, many times in the past. One of few good things was Edgar, I would pay to watch a movie about him.

 

So, with this big fat bore my Burton marathon ends.
