I have watched all of the English movies/series/mini-series and have been longing for a NYC Society drama from the Victorian/Edwardian period. There are only two that I can think of (no Gangs of NY don't count the DDL was in it). Those are The House of Mirth and and The Age of Innocence. Can't wait to see this. Community Manager Water Bottle Posted November 27, 2012 Community Manager Share Posted November 27, 2012 Don't get too excited. It's just a script commitment at this point. If it's any good, it'll get made into a pilot and then it has to compete with every other NBC pilot to make it to series.

However I must say for NBC to even be interested in this is somewhat encouraging. This is typically PBS Masterpiece Theater sort of fare.
