By the way, can you help me out? How does the SM Cinema Club work? I used to have an e-plus membership, but SM discontinued it. I don't know if the perks are the same. The link to the page always shows an error. When I ask cinema staff, they have no clue what it is about.

Malls have officially opened (10AM) today so I wasn't able to track the other branches before opening since walk-ups will begin right away with people flocking there due to the Holiday.

 

Around ₱1.6 million for pre-sales! Unless they add more screens, it's ceiling for today is around ₱3.5 million. Remaining seats lean towards the afternoon/evening shows so that's good ig. 

 

Again, top branch SM North made ₱4.16 million in FIVE Days for Inside Out back in 2015 (4% of the ₱97M) and today is clearly boosted by the holidays. Let's see the reception first.

 

I don't want to give a number since we don't exactly have the comparisons yet here or data but even assuming the weekend dailies will be lower vs. today, a ₱100M opening week is so reachable. I don't want to jinx but I'm feeling good about this.

Last fun info: the people during the Mall of Asia advance screening really seemed to be into it: lots of laughs - particularly with one surprise character + applause in the end from everyone (but some of the invited are influencers/content creator so...).
