Amour being nominated for best picture and best foreign picture is so redundant. wouldn't that automatically make it the best foreign pic.. since it's the only one that made it into the best pic category idgi

 

anyways, I still think Argo winning best picture would be odd. It doesn't have a director nod, it probably won't win screenplay, and it won't win any acting awards... yet it's still the best picture of the year?

 

idk if you guys have mentioned these things already. I'm not backtracking 100+ pages lol

Well that's there call. It did really well at the golden globes, and with passion it could take the top honor.

I think The Master had a pretty good score. I'd rather have seen that getting a nomination than Argo & Skyfall.

That, Beasts and Cloud Atlas had my three favourite scores of last year.

I remember the most out of all the nominees. Well, I remember that one track from Argo the most actually. Only because it's the one all the award shows play whenever it wins stuff.
