CJohn
It would be pretty funny to see CA2 getting trashed by 8AV at the Spanish box office this weekend.
peludo
It would be pretty funny to see CA2 getting trashed by 8AV at the Spanish box office this weekend. 8AV will win again for sure, and probably, by a wide margin. 8AV is in every media as the phenomenon that Spanish movies needed. It is curious, but first part had the same problem. It opened well (2.5 million $), but it faced Rise of the planet of the apes, which opened with 5 million $. Need for Speed had a very solid result over here. It surprised me. I feel Noah will have a big OW. Sounds like the type of movie Portugal and Spain will push to huge numbers. Rio 2 is going to be big over Easter holidays. Is there any other animation opening in the next 3 weeks?

CJohn
So April 10 has nothing? Here next week Rio 2 and Divergent open, and the adaptation of a popular local book called Sei La (romantic drama). On April 10 Noah, Tarzan, The Grand Budapest Hotel and 3 Days to Kill get into theaters. On April 17 there is only one release, but it is huge (TASM2). And on April 24, the eve of one of the biggest holidays of the year, Muppets 2, The Other Woman and Sabotage storm into theaters. Insane month.
